- Hoosli, a Ukrainian male chorus, performed the national anthem prior to puck drop between the Jets and Canadiens in Winnipeg. The long-running community choir provided the performance as a show of support for the community during this difficult time.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Canada have a strong tie to our ancestral lands of Ukraine. My own family immigrated from the Lyiv region, and how fitting that one of Winnipeg’s sister cities is Lyiv!

@Aparks those men are Canadian. They speak both Ukrainian and English, and likely have been singing both anthems their entire lives. That they can perform both anthems well shouldn't be a surprise :)
