Really good tips. I've watched some of your other videos as well. I've recently gotten back into playing her, and have been having a lot of success with roaming, but was pretty iffy on the macro / wave management parts of roaming, so thank you for explaining that. I guess the one thing that I have trouble with is what if you cannot gain lane prio? For example if the enemy midlaner is better at pushing the wave than you and/or you cannot clear it safely in order to go for a roam? Usually I either, 1) set up a freeze if they stay in lane and either wait for a good chance to commit or pray for my jungler to come in hard matchups/when I have no kill pressure. 2) If I see them hard shove then go for a roam, I will clear as fast as possible and follow the roam to help (if it's possible to help). 3) If they hard shove then back, I will hard shove as well and try to crash into their turret before backing / roaming myself. I know Kat is super strong at roams and have been trying to play to that strength but getting the lane into a state when I don't loose a lot when roaming has been one thing I have been trying to improve. A bit rambly but just thought I'd write out my thoughts for others as well if they see this. Keep up the good work and I will continue to watch your videos! :)

yeah really well said, pretty much that's the best your gonna get with roaming as Katarina, sometimes your wave may not be in the best position but if u can guarantee a kill or 2 to save your team it's okay to sacrifice some minions

Do you still go for a roam after killnig and ur hp is low? what if your hp is high? shouldn't you get an item first before roaming?

if i see an opportunity to roam I will but ill make sure to shove the wave first and for early game it is better to reset and get power spike

if u can solo kill your laner u can start long sword if ur looking for more of a passive playstyle with roams/tps go dark seal
