This reminds me of something. When I was a teenager I used to hack in FPS games. Ive been thinking about it recently because I ran into a hacker who just straight up killed me before the game loaded. Anyways, i just would do it because i wanted to get a reaction from the players. If Twitch had existed back then I wouldve been losing my mind. I guess what im saying is that I did it for attention. Teenagers you know? Just sharing a perspective. Before anyone says anything, i dont cheat anymore. I was a stupid teenager back then who wanted attention I just wanted to share my perspective
My issue is that the cheaters who are like blatant with it I’m pretty much fine with, yeah it sucks they’re cheating but hey, I get a laugh out of it and most of them end up being really funny and cute interactions The ones I hate are the subtle ones, the ones that make me question my own sanity.
The editing on this is so clean and just way you explain how they are doing this is amazing. Very well done video but your also right it is legit a length process to go through with the way the report system is and the gas lighting of perks to make you question everything. I loved how you also threw in a visual example of another game to show. kept my attention through the whole video! Also the trashcan edit had me crying I completely forgot that was a thing ROTFL
also its wild to me that they dont have any way to track impossible movement. Like if a survivor is teleporting around and sliding around at 300 mph while they are slugged, then they absolutely should be able to detect cheating.
I also came across a cheater recently.. luckily (i guess?) i was killed first and was able to record footage of the hacker and i was able to report them
I’ve gotten cheaters while playing both killer and surviver. Killers are usually just bots that want to instantly end the game. Surviver cheaters are worse. They usually have no skill in chase and then rage when I catch them. This one time while playing trapper I caught a cheater within a few seconds of chase. After getting unhooked they locker stunned me for the rest of the game then proceeded to call me trash for getting a zero K. Like my bad, I’ll play better next time 😅
Overwatch's cheat detection system is on holiday. There is a huge issue with cheaters in high ranks on pc. I play console, so ximming is an issue but you can't always tell.
The last cheater I came across used two refined serums in one game, and after he died messages me and tells me he's going to swat me lol. Sent a picture of my cloud ID and the current IP that I had.

During this last lights out event, and the one previous to it. I encountered a full SWF that where trying to be subtle ( at first ) in both encounters I had against them. I managed to beat them both times and yea.. When you manage to beat people who are using cheats/hacks it does kinda make you feel ecstatic. The odd thing about my second encounter with them was that they where actively searching for me to get that second match.. The first one I was playing Pinhead and it was on Lerry's map.( Was a 4k ) While the second match was a 3k I was Dracula and it was on Lerrys again.
@vulpixia there is no positive way to see cheaters. Cheaters and hackers make the game miserable for everyone no matter what side they are on. Using hacks/cheats to gain and unfair advantage in any game not just DBD is wrong. If you are using cheats in a solo game where it doesn't affect anyone else good on you but using them in a game were they affect others enjoyment of ta thing they paid money for is wrong. There is never any good coming from cheating. The more videos I see where they don't get reported or they have their identities hidden makes me dislike content creators for this game. I can see no instance where an individual who is flagrantly using an unfair advantage shouldn't be reported so that maybe they will receive some sort of ban even if BHVR refuses to IP or hardware ban them.
nothing wrong with cheaters since the game is incredibly unbalanced and players are just giving themselves the much needed quality of life changes that BHVR is taking a very long time to implement. With that said, cheats should not be game breaking, ruining the fun of others, or give players too much of an advantage.
Says there is nothing wrong with cheaters and then proceeds to list 3 reasons that cheating is wrong. Cheating because you feel QoL changes are not coming fast enough? That's cheating for an advantage, which just so happens to ruin fun for others and breaks the game.
@@hollow1585 subtle cheats like global aura reading for gens/survivors (since gen locations and survivor locations can be called out on voice anyway) and 2% haste are fine since the killer still has a chance to win and the survivor still needs skill to win chase. Cheats that prevent others from playing are not okay.

If you wanna have fun in some private lobbies with some friends then by all means go ahead but I don't understand how you can condone any kind of cheats that bring an unfair adventage. If you think the game is unplayable in its current straight, then newsflash, noone is forcing you to play it! No one wants to sign up for playing against cheaters

I wonder why BHVR doesn’t issue more hardware bans? Surely that would help the issue with them just getting new account after new account.
They do but majority of cheat software comes with HWID spoofers either free or heavily discounted

I get subtle cheaters every day blatant cheaters once a month or so but mostly its blatant cheaters that think they are sneaky
