Your shading and composition are absolutely to be admired, and I know I admire them very much. Piano was a great choice. The setting of where this room is is perfect for this drawing and these characters, maybe because it feels so free? I'm not completely sure, but I'd like you to know I value this video greatly and am now more motivated to improve my knowledge and art, as I've wished to for as long as I've been an artist. I can usually never watch speed paints without the artist talking in the bg explaning what they’re doing or just yapping in general but this was so fun to watch and interpret what the sketches would become and see cute little details that I relate too and the process in general! Vibing to the music in the background was also fun I loved it!! Someone mentioned the split between the oc and the artist between the room and then like they’re separate from you but they’re still living in your life in the canvases and sketches on the wall which is so cute AGH thank you for being an awesome artist this video cured my artblock 😍
My god… this is utterly stunning!! Your process is so fascinating to watch, and the clear diagonal separation between the blue and yellow, light and dark, messy and clean, real and Fantastical, human made and nature, sitting down, supported by a chair and standing up, supported by your own legs, creator and creation is so so incredible. The fact that so many different contrasts could do beautifully come together in such a coherent and unison piece is a show of your skill. The composition is genius, too. The way the light functions not just as a way to separate the piece into two parts, it also leads the eye around from one part of the scene to another, from the art on the wall to the OCs foot, up to their face, following the shadow until your back at the backlit creator. Also just the stylisation of the characters themselves is so JUICY, MM I am enjoying this fine, five star meal
