I made a bunch of these after Wendy's video, but now I'll have to try your version with the windows too! 😍 I have actually started cutting my envelopes wide open, that makes it sooo much easier to cover them in pretty papers and wrap the papers to re-create the envelopes/pockets... 😆 Sometimes I ask myself if it's really worth it, though, we c-o-u-l-d just print on thicker papers and make the same pockets and stuff...lol 🤣Just another crazy thing we do that non-junk-journalers can't even begin to understand... 🤪😂😆 I think we do it because we like it, the feeling of having "rescued" something otherwise destined for the trash...🙃

What a lovely way to recycle something that'd be tossed.I've been fussy cutting,my friend gave me some cards that she didn't need.There's cards,post cards, and even a few valentines.They're all from the '40s and I came across one someone had sent to someone that was dated 1938.I'm having a ball cutting and making a booklet for a friend.Have a great weekend!Deborah from Michigan
I love this! I use mailing envelopes a lot so much so that the way I open my mail has changed....I use scissors and cut the envelope open at the short end farther away from the window. Some times I turn them inside out if I like the color and patterns on the inside and re glue them back together. I can't wait to try this! Yes, indeed, Wendy does come up with some great ideas on new and simple ways to use most basic things that everybody has or are cheap and readily available.
