    One of the girls in my craft group was contemplating knitting a jumper for her boyfriend. I told her about the sweater curse but also shared this video because you talk about the reverse sweater curse. 😂

      How will a significant other be able to prove themselves as knitworthy if we are eternally beholden to unfounded cautionary tales. Lean into the reverse :P

    Discovered your channel last week and I started watching your older podcasts since I absolutely love the energy you two bring!
    Seeing all of your FO’s actually inspired me to bring out one of my WIP’s that’s been in timeout for the past two months. Halfway through sleeve island and should be ready to cast off in a week or so!

    I recently ran across your channel and I’m really enjoying it. That Noro Silk Solo is my dream. I have an entire bin of Noro older yarn kureyon, silk garden, and silk garden lite. But the color ways are so bright. That was the style 20+ years ago when I bought it. Maybe if I mix it with alpaca silk or something like that. Idk. I can’t justify buying any yarn because I have an entire loft filled with it. Yikes.

    • @twopurlsinapod
      @twopurlsinapod  11 месяцев назад

      Ugh I know the feeling. There's so much yarn I want to get but had a lot of acquisitions latley which is starting to weigh on my consciousness. I remember a lot of that Noro yarn when I was working in a yarn shop ~15 years ago, lots of clashing brights. I recon a mohair or an alpacca would tone it all down a bit, pull the whole thing a bit more towards a single colour perhaps. Also adds fluffiness which is always a good thing :)

    Oh wow, two Australian gals! Your rapport and vibe is so great. You are both so cute too. Totally loved this video and my husband and I are watching Mrs Maisel right now. I made the Petite Knit Novice Slipover in Double Sunday and Isager Mohair Silk in a similar brown and it has the same gorgeous drape and marle. Subscribed.

    Oh another recommendation for hand cream, because I have the same issue where I find knitting really drying and any amount of yarn catching on my hands drives me bonkers : o'keeffes working hands! Get it in the tub, not the tube. A tiny bit goes a long way, and I love that it doesn't leave any residue on my hands the way some of the more scented or bougie products do

They are organic, clean, all natural- no parabens, nothing bad!!:)
