    How can I put ONLY my delay and reverb in the fx loop while sending everything else (that happens to be before dly & verb) into the front of the amp? I’m guessing maybe it depends on where in the chain I put the fx loop?

    Own and love my GT1000 since it came out. I'm now using it 4CM with my Katana Artist. Questions i have are which output select amp should I choose (and I'm assuming for the 4cm you choose "input" rather than "return". But which Katana input makes most sense for the Artist. 2nd question is should i use the -10db or the +4db. Thanks.

    HI- I basically want to just use the clean channel on my AMP1, and use the amp models and effects from the GTK. Is this possible? Or do you have to turn off the amps on the GTK off for it to work in the 4CM? Thanks.

      I found that going into the return works best for this scenario, i like the amp models so i found this works best instead of going in to the front of the amp since your using a preamp already your goin into another preamp by goin into the main input of your amp , select your output for your amps return it made a huge difference in my sound

    For 4cm, I can only get the Fx loop to work if connecting the Return on my Engl Ironball SE to the phones on the GT1000. What am I doing wrong?

    I recently cycled through Line 6’s HX Stomp and PodGo before exchanging for a Marshall DSL40 (my firsts tube amp), and calling it a day. I want to play a real amp above all else, and retain that feel of raw power and sound while I play. The L6 products did NOT sound good through my FX loop, or any other way.
    Now that I’ve got a great tube amp that I love-I had also tried a Katana in my journey for tone-I am still wishing to add some tonal variety, possibly alternative amps, and definitely effects into the mix. I liked the Katana’s effects, so it seems logical I may like the GT1000, and their AIRD tech sounds promising as it claims to work intuitively even when plugged into a real traditional amplifier. Is this going to be a let down a la L6?
    I’m either going to buy a Katana Artist MKII, the big ass foot switch, and run it alongside my dry Marshall with an ABY pedal, or get the GT1000 to augment my Marshall.
    Which sounds like it’ll be better? I’ve also thought this option is better because I could do the wet dry thing, and have a second amp that is far more versatile with its true modeling approach to add into the overall sound with my Marshall.
    I’m looking to hit many birds with one stone. Down the line, yes, I’d rather have the real amps, and the real pedals, but for the short-long-term I’ve got the means to either grab a Katana, which I did like, or a GT1000. I love delay, modulation like flanger/phaser, and want looping ability. Both appear to have these. Please help me! 😁
    For the record I have mics like SM57 etc, and I do like to record, but as I’ve said the recording bit is secondary to in-the-room tone. I am a millennial, but I favor the traditional amplifier sound and feel. I can’t do headphones unless I’m strictly recording. I’m not inspired much while jamming through a studio headset. I don’t have any flat response speakers.
    Many many thanks if you actually read this, and thoughtfully considered my dilemma. Thank you.

      Gt1000 man, when I first used the line 6 pod it was great but definitely didn’t have the roar and uncontrollability of a real amp. The gt1000 changed it all for me it’s like all the greatness of digital systems with the rawness that real amps have whether direct or used for effects you won’t be disappointed with it

    • @justinTime077
      @justinTime077 3 года назад +1

      @@AdamManley7 I used them all, and to me the gt1000 was the biggest dumpster fire out of the bunch. I now have an FM3, and that my friend is-to me-the real deal. It even sounds authentic through a real amp head return into a real cab. I highly endorse fractal, and I was super let down by modelers at first until I went for the FM3.

      @@justinTime077 went to the local store yesterday, tested different FX processors I ordered for four hours straight.. and I didn't get to test Boss GT1000 because I had no clue what the fuck I was doing. Zoom G11 was the easiest to figure out, Helix was a but tricky, but turned out to be the smoothest in terms of interface. I've spent about 30 minutes with the Boss trying to figure out how to make a new 4cm patch, and couldn't do it. It's the only one out of those three with which I still have no idea how it sounds.

    • @bengirard1984
      @bengirard1984 4 года назад +1

      I guess you can always do : Guitar => GT1000 Input, then GT1000 main output(mono) => amp input. The only thing is all your effects will go through your amp preamp instead of poweramp so your reverb for example will probably be more overdriven. It doesn't mean it will sound bad, but it will surely limit the range of sounds you could have by having them through the loop.

    olá!
    sou o tiago, direto de são paulo, brasil!
    sugestões positivas:
    1)
    você poderia criar um sistema wirelless (com custo baixo e justo) para usuários de captadores GK com controladores midi?
    Estou tendo essa necessidade, porém, pelo menos aqui no Brasil existem muitos usuários de sistemas GK, e, vejo que esses usuários GK ainda não foram atendidos, nesse sentido!
    Não ficarei nem um pouco chateado se você me enviar um produto de graça como bônus pela minha sugestão, após o lançamento desse item!
    2)
    seria bom ter uma atualização nos pedais para obterem conexão midi, pois, atualmente, há varias possibilidades de acionamento, timbragem, gravação online, dentre outras possibilidades, que podemos usar (até remotamente) via midi ou via controlado usb!
    estou montando um novo set de pedais e estou selecionando todos com porta midi ou usb, porém, os melhores pedais ainda não se tem esta possibilidade!
    muito sucesso a todos por aí !!!

    2)
    it would be good to have an update on the pedals to get midi connection, because, currently, there are several possibilities of activation, timbre, online recording, among other possibilities, that we can use (even remotely) via midi or via usb controlled!
    I'm assembling a new set of pedals and I'm selecting all of them with a midi or usb port, however, the best pedals still don't have this possibility!
    much success to everyone out there !!!
