Tsewang Dorjie became a household name in China upon winning the silver prize at China's 13rd Professional Vocalists Competition in 2008 as a college freshman. Dorjie has won numerous highly acclaimed awards since his debut at China's 13rd Professional Vocalists Competition. In June of 2015, Dorjie was the featured artist at the renowned show "The Life of An Artist" , and in August 2015, Dorjie was named "Best Male Vocalist" by the Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee & China's Association of Musicians.
