The differences between the NFL and CFB are slowly disappearing and I'm growing quite dissatisfied with this new era. On one hand I agree that these players should have some agency and be able to profit from their abilities as adults but on the other hand commitments don't matter anymore and anyone can go at any time. How do we, as fans, get excited about any commitment anymore when they can just up and leave at any point? The next step should be multi-year contracts or else this is only going to get worse and there will be no such thing as stability without the money to pay for it year by year. I realize that the transfer acquisition of Julian Sayin is likely what brought this particular transfer on and while I like seeing OSU bring in good players it still just doesn't sit right with me but I guess I'm just an old man that misses the way it used to be so now it just doesn't feel like college football to me anymore. Oh well, guess I'll fire up NCAA 14 and relive what used to be a beautiful sport that was about honor, pageantry, commitment, and facing hard competition to become a better person instead of money and the easiest path to the field. At any rate, good luck to you Air. I sincerely hope you find what you're looking for and that you have a successful football journey.
Clearly Sayin is better than Air. Lincoln might stick around another year, Sayin, Lincoln, and St. Clair is a good room. Probably need another journeyman. If Lincoln leaves, definitely need a backup transfer.
It would be nice to respect the choices of young men regarding their careers. Who are we to question their motives and needs? Bad-mouthing them only degrades OSU, not the young men.
The decision by Ohio State to keep Day made Noland's decision for him. No surprise that Noland entered the portal right after the announcement that Day was not being fired.
I said last week that Lincoln n Air will leave… a SEC school will utilize him. If Sayin was the preferred just imagine Devin waiting 3 yrs .. Nolan would have waited 2 yrs without seeing the field.. Gees barring injuries to the QB mhhh it’s going to be interesting…wishing him the best…
No reason to stick around. It’s clear Sayin is up next and Tavien after that. Probably bring in another Will Howard type from portal this year for veteran depth.
You Guys are the only Ohio State media outlet that I don’t troll I respect your opinions and your research but the rest of the Ohio State beat is garbage
So what now, we go out and get another trash QB from the portal. If Day could develop QBs we'd have Nolan, Sayin, and Kienholz. Getting ready for the playoffs. Howard hasn't showed me squat. I don't know what's worse, his running or his passing, both cost us games. It's pathetic.
Hilarious to follow the comments over months and months. Preseason: Air Noland, baby!!! Postseason: Good riddance! We didn’t want you anyway. No one who isn’t named Joe Burrow or Quinn Ewers ever leaves Ohio State and finds success!!!
I dont think its because the "room" is so deep but maybe they see a coach that cant beat their rival or cant make their conference championship in as many years.....with aalllll that "talent". What would you do? Ride the pine and watch your team under perform or get embarrassed or go to a team that will use you and have your chance at actually winning games that matter? Other coaches have no problems getting results and coaching up, Ryan Day SUCKS!
@@mkwy8782 I am an Ohio State fan and I think partially people be lying to kick it and just post an Ohio State boards just to stick out and look stupid. Nobody agrees with this idiot.

Air has a powerful arm, with a quick release. He’ll probably do well somewhere.
Damn. That’s sucks. I was really rooting for Noland too.
He didn’t get reps. Not really surprised. Wish him the best wherever he goes.
I wanted to see Air, not surprised but I’m disappointed 😤😤
This gripes me!! This will bite us in the ass eventually.
That's a bummer 😕 In my dynasty on NCAA 25, Sayin transferred and Air led us to back to back titles 😢 oh well lol

I was hoping that Air would be QB1 at Ohio State, Julian Sayin better be great or it is going to be a black mark on Day as a quarterback developer.
What an ignorant comment, He didn't think he was good enough to beat out Sayin or St; Clair

He's just another one in a long line of Prima-donnas created by NIL.
I didn’t hear any bad mouthing
Good for him
DAMN!
We want Day to be like the Sabans of the world until he does some Saban type stuff. Good luck Air, Jules...ball up top

Is Lincoln next?
He's gone for sure. Didn't play at all this year, and won't next year either.
@@dalereineke5909 wouldn't be shocked if St Clair catches on fast and they find a vet in the portal

Don't be Michigan. Always have someone in the pipeline at quarterback.
well, we still have 2 and a good one on the way, with another in sight. I doubt we will ever be without 3 or more good options.
Is OSU going after Matt Ponatoski, 2024 Ohio Mr. Football? He is a junior.
If you're a five-star quarterback recruit, your first question of the recruiter should be "Am I going to start as a freshman?" If not, move on.
On to the next man lets go Buckeyes
Um he was never the next man
@ I am talking about room for the QBs
reminds me of another Georgia QB who got busted for soliciting and left the team. A great H.S QB who didn't pan out.
I tried to tell buckeye fans noland would never see the field and be gone sooner than later
The only athlete in the QB room. Now gone. Getting worse and worse for OSU.

In the transfer portal era nobody is keeping multiple 5 star qb for multiple years waiting

Gees which universe do you come from? Definitely a different galaxy..
@
The galaxy where common sense is.
Sayin to Smith for six
Sayin is too small, arm not big enough, St Clair for me.
Maybe have a matchup at the end of the year of Bryce underwood and st Clair
If he was really that good he would have more playing time
2 minutes of interesting comments wrapped into 12 minutes of “need content”. A minute and a half of hinting at his name before the reveal? Weak.

Buh bye Quitter Noland.
