    Really wonderful video. As a descendant of the Canaday's and Mendenhall's, I very much enjoyed learning more about my ancestors and the Friends Meeting House in Vermilion Grove. My paternal grandmother, Lois Hutchens Busby, was from Vermilion Grove, and I grew up in the Quaker church in Danville. Loved the drone footage at the end. Well done.

    I am a descendent of Hester's, Besore's, Smith's and Canaday's. My mother attended the Academy and is buried with a lot of family in this Cemetary. I wish I'd have paid more attention when she told me the history!

    I live in the first funeral home in Christman. If you want to get some more story's about this old building. Even a little spooky story that is true as the sky is blue.

      It's hard to find any history about this old building. If you could do some research on this place would answer a lot of questions for us.
      You guys are the best narrators that I've heard for a long time.

    Can I ask where some of the pictures came from? I have copies of some of those originals, but others are new to me. The one of a younger Isaac and Arminta (Mills) Rees and that larger Rees family photo for instance

      @pj3209 Год назад

      I have some original pictures of Milo Mills, Pleasant Mills, John Maxwell and Sarah Elliott, Emory Rees's father Isaac, and the Lincon picture that Abe gave to Josephus Hollingsworth.

    Emory translated the scriptures into Luragoli and not Swahili.
