      Hang about in the "anti ganking" channel in-game you can find like minded players there. Also useful to have "gank-intel" in game channel open for information on ganker movements etc.

    Looks like fun. In the old days I used to do the odd bit of ganking (before safety/code existed) but always preferred lowsec camping. Nowadays I prefer to do non-PVP activities, but this looks entertaining :) Do you ever run Omen fleets doing this? Could be interesting to try and not only save targets but also loot the ones they kill and (for a small commission) return the goods to the owner.

    • @hazenkorakagaming
      @hazenkorakagaming  2 года назад

      No, I don't usually run fleets much, we kinda are a loose militia that do our own thing mainly, not really regimented so tightly.

    Cool! I want to do this too when I get back on Eve. So nice to see you can effectively disrupt gankers while having safety enabled. I take it killing that pod was a mistake in giving away a kill right on yourself. I'm familiar with the anti-ganking channels. Hope to see you soon.

    Do u have a chat channel where urgent help can be broadcast. And people warp in like concord

    • @hazenkorakagaming
      @hazenkorakagaming  2 года назад

      You might try the "Anti-ganking" channel, but again, depends where you are, how many people are willing to help at any given time.

    • @hazenkorakagaming

      Yes, as is shown in the videos "Gank-Intel" for intel only reports and the chat channel "Anti-ganking" - you can see both on screen in the video.

    why dont you shot the wreck if a freighter failed, gankers at net loss if you do that?

    • @hazenkorakagaming
      @hazenkorakagaming  2 года назад

      Because that will involve me ganking and losing sec status, and why would I do that?

  • @aterex

    I'm using blackbird to jam them. 5 ECM = 5 catalysts. And you jam them instantly.

    • @hazenkorakagaming
      @hazenkorakagaming  2 года назад

      Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. They always use ECCM so your jam chance is very low. The exact jam chance will depend on your skills and the target's skills but it's as a rule of thumb less than 40% chance to jam per module (even overheated)...

      Yeah arties are nice, if not for that pesky cycle time (which is high, especially for the big guns)

  • @mongobongo1147
    @mongobongo1147 3 года назад +7

    Apparently you've been doing this for years. So I gotta ask... why? What do you hope to accomplish by this? You'll never be able to save the freighter. Their ships were already dead via Concord. Is it just to pad your killboard? I don't get it. Would be great if what you were doing made a difference, but it doesn't.

    • @marius666
      @marius666 3 года назад +1

      I'm not a ganker, and do see what you're doing. I've thought about joining/creating a police Corp for Udema/Sivala. But I gotta ask as well? What the point if you can't save the freighter?

    • @Stinktierball
      @Stinktierball 3 года назад +2

      but he has a point, how many freighter did you safe already? sounds like a good idea that you are chasing, but mongo bongo had a point and u just got salty instead of explaining
      if you really want to help them i advice getting a fast locking ship like a sensor boosted tornado that can oneshot those gankers before they got all them crucial volleys in and maybe even ungroup your guns to kill more at once, you could even edit your overview to only show criminals afaik so you dont have to check whom you can shoot and whom not to shoot
      if its just troll i still advice ungrouping guns for better padding lol

      It’s not about making a difference or money. It’s usually about hate and revenge.

    • @hazenkorakagaming
      @hazenkorakagaming  2 года назад +11

      @@hiroki_rinn Well, it's also more about competing goals. Gankers want to destroy and steal and I think that's a scummy playstyle so I choose the more difficult path of trying to save
