The beat homeschooling advice I can give you was given to me. It's homeschooling for a reason, don't get upset if you start late or something comes up. You can do it when it's best for you and your girls!!! You're going to do great because you already put God first! I love where you live. I want to mive to the mountains so bad! I'm in hot flat land south Georgia. But I'm thankful for it. It was my great-grandmother's homestead.

As a teacher and mom who homeschooled for years, don’t put too much pressure on yourself! You are the best teacher for your children and make it relaxed…lots and lots of play, reading, phonics, using tactile ways to practice forming letters and numbers, songs, games, etc. We LOVED The Good and the Beautiful curriculum! Very well put together.
I couldn’t agree more! Keeping things simple and fun is key. We’re also using The Good and the Beautiful for kindergarten this year. We love it so far!

One helpful thing is to take a few minutes every afternoon to make a cup of coffee and prepare lessons for next day. That way if you have an activity that requires a craft item you can make sure that you’ve pulled what’s needed. Or you can pull designated resources(flash cards, related picture books, alphabet chart etc) Also, sorry one more. Lol. Grade every day as you go. That way you’ll know if your children got it or need more repetition or practice the next day. You’re gonna do great! You have such a loving heart!❤❤

Peaches are my favourite fruit, and that Dutch baby looked delicious, will definitely try your recipe! A tip for easily peeling peaches: Bring a pot of water to a boil, place peaches in for about 30-45 seconds, and place in ice bath (blanching process). The skins peel right off! I do this when using peaches in any baking/canning and it is a fast and easy process. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Megan!
