Ross I have to thank you for putting this out. I followed the rules today and was up ~$32 in my real account (one trade and done with small size) and up almost $800 in the SIM with about 71% accuracy. I know you’ve told me this 37 times before but this time I actually listened lol. This will be my plan for at least the next two weeks then I’ll re-evaluate my metrics to see where I am. Being a Warrior Pro member has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks Ross, your teaching is so clear and easy to apply, never miss a video! I would love to see a video to expand the knowledge regarding more trading methods you know, that could be great. TNX
Hey Ross, been watching your videos for a while now. Have been educating myself. I'm a little hesitant to start using real money but I know some day I will feel comfortable. Thanks already for all of the great advice, keep up the good work!
So far so good for me. Up 1200 simulated 1st day. $1500 dollar simulated 2nd day. 3rd day 600$ up. Today I practiced real money but only 100 shares at a time and made 80$ (so woulda been x10-30 as I practice usually 2-3k shares simulated. I know I’m not supposed to start real $$$ yet, but just small amount to start getting used to emotions of real cash to some degree. Hopefully I don’t get over confident.
I just paper traded from 2k (initial balance) to 4.4k in one month. I made 2.4k. I traded 100 shares per trade. My target was 100 pday. I thought I was doing it right and that was conservative. Ross just said that is expert level. I know I am no expert, I just started, but with some bad red starts to the day I was able to pull it back to green almost everyday. My lowest green days were 40 or 60 bucks. I had one 90 dollar red day. I was about to start scaling up my share size but now I am worried I have been doing it all wrong. Could beginners luck last for 30 straight days???????
This is such a great video. Thanks for putting this out. I was green everyday in august and september averaging 100-200 per day, and then last thursday I lost my cool and had a 4k loss. All my gains over 2 months gone in one day. Talk about a roller coaster. I have officially checked myself into trader rehab!
You are a great mentor Ross and I really like your logic. I always seem to stumble onto the videos that help me with my decisions. I have put a lot of time and energy in developing myself as a trader and I am trying to fine tune my approach and be very systematic as a trader. This was another excellent video that helps with psychology and strategy.
Such great information! My profit loss ratio is not good so that tells me I’m not focusing on step 1 of waiting on A+ setups. I am going to focus on this and hopefully in 3 months I can look back and see today as where I turned it around!
Ross, Thank you so much!!! As always giving the best idea, advise with details that never giving in all over youtube and other platforms, God bless you!!!! The other issue it's with Market Rules for Day Trading that tied our hands to do multiple trading without restricted due to low capital, hopefully this rule will be taking out to be fear and allow everyone to do trading.
Ross your a legend, thanks so much for making this video. This is exactly where I am right now. Focusing on concepts for consistency. Love your teaching style thank you
Hey Ross appreciate the information I’m a little hesitant with the move to real money started with the simulator but still don’t feel my confidence level up

My job sucks, taking me longer to get my automation going. Anywho. Because I am automating this stuff, I have no choice but to test my strategy. And because it is a PC, I can test many strategies at once. I hope before the end of the year, I am in a test mode. Still having minor issues making a quality GAP scanner to feed my system, but Ill get there. Thanks Ross for your content. It keeps me going at times.
Great advice. I always told myself, if I feel I am struggling or forcing a trade that may not work, reconsider and keep in mind it only takes one big A+ winner a week to make my weekly goal. And walk a way a winner.
When I make it and they ask me what was my biggest "AHA! Moment" in my trading journey I will point them to this video. I finally found the roadmap to consistency.
Hey Ross I tracked my results for September and was surprised by what I found. My risk reward ratio was 3.5 I win $600 for average risk of $170. My accuracy was only 20.5% for the month. My goal for October is to limit myself to 5 trades a day. I hope that helps cause when I’m up I tend to get overconfident and give back some gains
I feel like every video has a time and place and this one wouldn’t have been as impactful last year as it is now. I am actually in this process right now and this video gave me confirmation I’m on the right track

Been following the Warrior Trading channel for about half year. Ross is the best day trader mentor that I 've ever found on RUclips. No more comments. Thanks Ross for all the helpful videos.
I'm certain that you Ross have answered this question many times but the only dumb question is the one that is never asked... What does "averaging down" mean?
~ Averaged Down, example, I’ve 100 shares and sell to the green 50 shares then with the buying power of level two I also buy at the same time another 25 shares to support the second chart bar spike for green up,then again with the green I sell another 50 shares and now I’m full profit from 100 shares and plus I have 25 more share’s to scalp sell at the red out then I’m all out, done for the day. It’s leaving the #1 volatility of market as selling all out to finish.
Nice video! Part of my beginner trader strategy now is to double my share size after every green week and half my share size after every red week. For example, first week start with 10 shares. If that week ends green, then next week trade with 20 shares. If then, for example, that next week ends red, then go back to 10 shares for the next week. I will continue this until I reach my max position size that I am comfortable with. This helps me focus on quality trades and I trade less because I don't want to end the week red. Of course I don't recommend this until you have experience in a simulator and are ready to trade with real money, small share size.
Also were now trading with AI programs. Those AI setups are learning about us and how we trade and it can gather masses of trades and wipe us out in one calendar trade
Do you think that is where the money is for them? If ai is battling ai, i guess new patterns will form. I sure don't hope we'll be wiped out. I'm not rich yet.
Your message this week about being aggressive on profit taking was loud and clear… I’m profitable almost everyday nowadays… I’m sooo close. I had a $1700 trade on but gave it room to open up and it took me out for a couple hundred… 20 minutes later I was in the trade for $3500 and again let ride for continuation, added averaged my stop up , it took me out for $2000 . Then I did some dumb stuff trying force trade after the session was done trading and gave back all but $300 .

Hi Ross, trading stocks beetwen 1$ and 20$, do you still give the advice to trade with the same amount of shares? Imagine you have an accuracy of 70% and you make all your 30% losing trades on 20$ stocks and your gain on small price shares, your overall P/L will be negative. I understand that starting with a small share size is a good idea but would it be a good idea to adapt it regarding the price of the stock. I would like to know your opinion on this. Thanks in advance.
When sizing positions Ross will also account for the price of the stock, however, in general since he sticks to stocks similarly priced it does not vary too much for him!

hey ross,i've been trading for a while now and lately i faced with a losing streak and i was continuously entering losing trades.i was making decent profits for about two months i would say around 15-35% and then this happened,i ended up losing almost all of my profits.i lost almost 20 trades in a row but becuse of my R/R i didnt completely end up losing my profits or blowing my account, but it took a toll on my confidence and i would love to know your thoughts on why it happened and what could i do better next time when i face such losing streak

You need to use a broker that you can keep your funds in U S and not convert back and forth each trade. Wealth simple was like that. If you are canadian check out Interactive Brokers

Ross thank you for your lesson. Just want to ask how we should set our daily profit target?? maybe like 2% of the account size????
Jonathan that varies based on strategy and risk tolerance.
That is when you add to a losing position and your average cost for the position is lowered
In which case, pnl either up or down much faster
Thanks for sharing these thoughts!
Yeah I agree, traders like me with a 100% win rate are defiantly not the norm🙏

And 10 were just regular losses im definitely on the right track just have to be mroe patient and confident in letting the trade play out.
It's always a work in progress, keep at it!

hey ross,i've been trading for a while now and lately i faced with a losing streak and i was continuously entering losing trades.i was making decent profits for about two months i would say around 15-35% and then this happened,i ended up losing almost all of my profits.i lost almost 20 trades in a row but becuse of my R/R i didnt completely end up losing my profits or blowing my account, but it took a toll on my confidence and i would love to know your thoughts on why it happened and what could i do better next time when i face such losing streak
Sorry to hear that, it happens. It's important to think back to what you were doing when you were doing well and try to figure out what may have changed, this will help you learn and move forward.

No worries!
TOTALLY AGREE! one trade a day! Everyday $100 dollars. Think about it, one year!
Yep, small gains add up!
Are students still using CMEG, and would you do another challenge in this current market?
Many are using CMEG. I also still have an account there. But it’s not the easiest market for a small account challenge!
@@DaytradeWarrior I know! it's tough out there. I wanted to join warrior trading but I would be under the PDT rule, and if you specially think is hard for a small account to grow in this market I think it's best to not take the risk. Thank you for replying
Excellent.

hey ross just wondering how i can factor in exchange rate from cad to usd, i normally get in and out 10-20 cents up on each share scalping and getting my strategy down but i lose money on those trades because of exchange rate
You need to use a broker that you can keep your funds in U S and not convert back and forth each trade. Wealth simple was like that. If you are canadian check out Interactive Brokers
@@jasonb9680 awesome thanks!
Hey there. I'm Canadian as well and trade with Questrade. I opened up a TFSA and that will also help with taxes.
@@reflexzayah6381 You can do that with all brokers

~I’m going to say, 15:20 emotions, what I did when I first began was to trade only short able stock’s with high Volatility, 📈📉 because of the sad serious emotion, instead of experiencing the worst thing I’ve ever felt…😢 I created the experience into ( I did this 📈waiting for red to drop, and then this made me HAPPY 😃📉when I made larger profit at the bottom and the center divide is the Swing trade I’m holding on to long time. ✍️ edit; my Swing trades are always yearly holds for the sell at the moment that I do IRS TAXES… I call this !BOXING BACK!* & smiling happily laughing…My first Sells of the New Year for profit to make the money back from the tax loss. ⚡️
👍 nice!
