For example: online only, rushed launch, I mean rushed EVERYTHING for that matter. Siege was already a functional game by the time of Operation Health. Operation Health was mainly to update server infrastructure for the longterm health of the game, barely fixing anything leading the Siege community to constantly meme on Operation Health Payday 3 on the other hand is a lot worse than that. Most notably the fact the game is always online when the first two games weren't is a core part of what is wrong. No one can play the game they paid for since it's dependent on an soddy server matchmaking that doesn't work. We shouldn't need an internet connection to play offline with bots
@@DrAnimePhDServers and hit reg were literally the best when it was fixed in Op Health. Ubi also updated their code so they could add ops without them literally breaking the game like Hibana at the time.

Once Blood Orchid arrived everyone was meming on the fact Operation Health was a three month period and headshots still didn't work. It's why Operation Health to this day is still a meme. Whenever something doesn't work right, you could just say "Operation Health was a three month period" and everyone instantly starts laughing.

Everything mentioned in the blog post was stuff that turned me and my group off from playing, and we're already talking about how we want to get back into it once some of these features are implemented. Don't fuck it up. And if you do, be upfront and work on fixing it
Really happy to see you guys coming clean and transparent with this. I think PD3 is a really good game with tons of potential, but it came out of the oven severely underbaked. I'm excited for the promise of all the changes outlined, but currently they are just words on a screen so I'll hold my hype and praise until they start to materialize. I really hope you're able to pull off a NMS or Cyberpunk. Please don't let us down. PS: Please make the 'O' key rebindable

Wow, it's almost like every bad thing we heard about the launch state of the game (online-only, the challenge based progression, early-access looking UI) were in fact, bad ideas from the start and should have never made it to the final product.
I love the Payday franchise and Payday 2 was one the first online communities that I got super into when I used to actively play it. I am absolutely disappointed in the current state of Payday 3, but I really want to see it flourish somewhere down the line.. Hope things go well for you guys!

i played this game for nearly 100 hours on launch, and havent touched it since the first month. i strongly believe you guys can make this game great. once you guys feel your game is finally back to being great, please launch another ad campaign to get more people into the game. being a mandatory online game, its only a matter of time before the servers all die anyway. make the damn offline mode already, or give us at least an option to make private online lobbies. these arent hard things to figure out. the core issues in the game should be glaring by now, and if you cant figure that out as a studio, then payday is destined to fail. i love this franchise deeply, and i will give you guys as many chances as it takes, but if you cant pull the game out of the deep end, dont expect anyone to come back.

This is the most excited I've been for an update announcement. I love Payday 3. I just hope they don't make too many concessions to change the core of the game like...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE CHALLENGES WHYYYYYY :'(
this could only be me, but payday 3 feels "stale". i think this is because of the "greatness" of heists. for example: in payday 2 you can: steal multiple nukes in fire fights steal ancient crystals from decade-old museums steal presidental pardons from the white house rob the first world bank rob a massive casino and do much, much more in payday 3 you can: rob a pretty big bank cook meth under a police assault thats pretty much it. ofcourse, due to the new armor system you cant be under siege of hundreds of cops or stay for 1-3 hours in a single heist, but i'm sure that there can be done something to make fighting thousands of cops or staying prementioned hours while still having the new armor system. this could also just be me, who knows
I paid for the premium version of this game because i loved payday 2 and I was beyond hyped for the sequel. What I was welcomed with was a buggy mess that I couldnt even play for over a month because Almir is more worried about losing money then delivering a finished product. Now that the money from the pre orders is drying up after 6 months since release and an active player count of mere hundreds, are they now doing something. While I am happy theynare doing something i wont be pleased untill something is done to make up for this absolute faliure of a launch. Good luck Starbreeze, you are going to need it.

ofcourse, due to the new armor system you cant be under siege of hundreds of cops or stay for 1-3 hours in a single heist, but i'm sure that there can be done something to make fighting thousands of cops or staying prementioned hours while still having the new armor system.

I paid for the premium version of this game because i loved payday 2 and I was beyond hyped for the sequel. What I was welcomed with was a buggy mess that I couldnt even play for over a month because Almir is more worried about losing money then delivering a finished product. Now that the money from the pre orders is drying up after 6 months since release and an active player count of mere hundreds, are they now doing something. While I am happy theynare doing something i wont be pleased untill something is done to make up for this absolute faliure of a launch. Good luck Starbreeze, you are going to need it.
