That single monologue by Usopp showed what strong character Usopp really is and shut up any critics of him. He is the most real person in OP universe who is genuinely scared in such crazy world along with monsters in his crew. He has no superpower but he is the bravest of them all. Bravery is not about having no fear, it is about beating the fear that basically paralyzes u when ur friends are in need. It is about being scared to die all the time yet be ready to die just to save ur nakama. He really is the brave warrior of the sea which he doesn't realize yet
I really really hope that Usopp realizing his dream won't be about him becoming fearless, but him finally realizing that he was a brave warrior all along!
The biggest lie Usopp tells himself is hes a coward
What pisses me off about Ussop is that he always regresses to his old self. He ultimately overcomes his fear, but with no noticeable character development in the long run. At this point you would expect that he manages to conquer himself a bit, but no. Still shivering instead of making use of his technical potential. It's like going to therapy and having to start all over again after making any progress. It's frustrating and annoying because he is unreliable in 95% of the time. People like this irl are annoying and so is he. The ultimate nail in the coffin for me was the scene in wano kuni with him and nami where they're defeated.
That ending was beautiful!
The Merry in a bottle is an amazing gift, so apropiate for these chapters

Ussop & Luffys voice actors really shined in this arc. Every time Mayumi Tanaka screamed out for Robin or for other moments was so amazingly intense and wonderfully pulled at you.
Im so glad that you have continued this Journey. A lot of people doesn't even try to watch One Piece because of the 1000+ episodes. But I'm so proud of you guys!
The voice performances rock our souls without looking at the screen. Bravo to the voice actors for doing their best to deliver Oda's great work

@DeVan Clan You should REALLY watch Dragon Ball Z English dub (not parodies or abridge but the real English dub). Its the series that made Anime mainstream world wide.

@@MrLeonLuffy Agreed, Jason just gets pumped with the fight scenes and Im sure he'd love DBZ fights. Yeah, Dragon ball is too filler for DBZ but also a good prequel if he want to see that separate at some other date.
@@Saffaz I said Dragon ball because Jason would like high octane fighter anime. Naruto is just 100 hours flashbacks and teen drama with the final boss who superpower is just 100 episodes of filler! SCREW THAT! Bleach would be better alternative to Naruto.
It's a combination of what there feeling and what patreon/discord want on top of the fact they don't want a bunch of shows there going back and forth between. That way they can focus and really take in the show there watching.
