Fleurrrr 😩😩😩 you used to be the ONLY youtuber I could rely on that would always always put prices up on screen (not just for Christmas gift guides but even in your beauty videos) year after year after year. I always was so impressed that not only you were one of hardly ANYONE that actually went to the effort to do it in the FIRST PLACE, but the fact that you kept it up for so many years! But
I have noticed (even on your beauty videos) that you’ve now become just the same as every other youtuber, and stopped doing it. Very sad. As it was another huge plus point of watching your videos that you always went to the trouble of going to that extra effort of always, no matter what video it was, always putting prices on screen of the items you were talking about. I understand you’re a busy Mum now. But it’s sad that literally NOBODY does this anymore. Yes we can click links and look up prices on google, we all know that. But It is something that was so greatly appreciated , but not just me. As I always remember seeing quite a lot of people comment the exact same thing over the years, how nice it was that fleur actually bothered to do this for her viewers. Prices and cost are so important to people, and I think the fact that someone like Fleur, who very clearly has plenty of money, always went to that extra effort was something that was very endearing g about her.
Was always impressed that she carried it on year after year too. But obviously it has now stopped. 😢
Oh wow that’s so interesting to hear! I stopped doing it as it obviously makes editing twice as long and I honestly hadn’t noticed anyone commenting on it, I kind of thought… is it just a bit distracting to the video?! Also with the price variations in stuff all over the internet (and changing prices over time) it was also very hard to be accurate (especially in the gift guides over Christmas when everything goes in and out of sale. I’ll look in to adding them back in for beauty videos. If anyone else feels the same please let me know!
