Coming from Australia I don't find Singapore expensive. It is very exxy compared to much of Asia of course, but for me it's no more than any Australian city.

I am Singaporean. 50k peso which is about 1.3ksgd is more than enough for 4d3n. Food cost can be cheap if u eat at hawker centres and food courts. Restaurants will be expensive. Its not that expensive like in Australia or USA where food prices are very expensive.
$3.50 singapore dollars can get you a bowl of noodles or economic rice at a hawker centre easily

Singapore accommodation is expensive. That's why my Philippines friend sleep on my sofa for free when he visits Singapore. Hahaha
