In the end I took my phone to a mobile phone repair shop and had it fixed for 30 euros. I had to leave it there for an hour and they downloaded new software or something like that. Oh well...

It still did not help, I got my apps back but now I till get the pop up message. No. Not 100%. In my case, the phone is SO far gone, is shows the 'keeps stopping' message every 1-2 seconds(!) and does NOT let me uninstall the Play Services updates. Upon trying to uninstalling them, only an error message tells me, that the uninstall has failed. So: 99% working.

@@brokenangel956 oh i see. unfortunately, im not sure how much help i can be since i store as few things in the cloud as possible. if your stuff was stored in the cloud then rest assured IT IS NOT LOST, but it could be a bit of a pain to recover and restore it to your phone. first thing you should do is go to the play store and try re-downloading google play services. next step, if that does not restore everything is to log in to your google account and check to see if any of your missing data is available there. (you may want to use a computer for this instead of your phone) try going to photos/google/com (i cant post a link, so youll need to swap both of the / for . ) gmail/com probably has all of your contacts saved. you may have to hop around the entire suite depending on the type of data you are missing, but rest assured it should all be there if that is how it was stored.

When you go to special security settings, you have to untick and deactivate all device admin apps. I had the same problem as you and this helped me, hope it helps you too!
Yesterday it was so bad I couldn't do anything. Then in the afternoon it eased off so I just managed to reset factory settings and sort it. It's amazing how much I rely on my phone for maps and customer interactions. I was totally lost. Had to read a map and talk to people on the street😂😂😂😂Great vid I just found it to late 😂
For those people to whom this method is not working please check if your device is password protected or pattern. First remove pattern and password protection and then try this. It worked for me this way it may work in your case as well.
