Hi kids! I hope you are enjoying the desert. I'm really enveous ya' know. Do you think I'll be able to catch a pic of a ghost? I'm sure hoping. LOL Happy Trails you two.
Hi Robert, yes I'm really stoked to get going on this trip. It's been way too long since the last one. Classy seems to be in good shape and at least for now, I'm not too worried about her capability to meet the challenge. Thank you for your interest and support. Happy Trails to you.
Glad to see you hitting the road again. We both grew up in and we’re married in Omaha before moving to Washington in 1993. I didn’t realize you live in the Davenport area. No wonder we like your videos. 😍. Safe travels. Betsy & Dennis
Hi Betsy. I used to drive trucks and went to and through Omaha a lot. Always one of my favorite cities. Now I get a chance to stop and smell an Omaha rose or two. Thanks folks for your interest and friendship.
Hi John, that was another great video and the studio look really good. Also I can't wait for the road trip and also the tour of the spooky places. Also it'll be nice to have a tour of America. It doesn't matter how far you get on the road trip, you do what's best for you.
Hi Tim. The studio looks a lot different since I swapped the furniture. To be honest I like it better. Once we get on the road, keep an eye on my posts to the Facebook Group. I will be updating my location and next destination as often as I can. If there is anything or anyplace you would like to see that would be near my path just let me know and I'll try to bring it to your screen. Thank you for your interest and friendship.
@@GeezerAtTheWheelGang Hi John, the studio does look different but does look really good. It's a nice time to go on a road trip in May too. It's great to see you so happy as well. 🙂 oh also did you get bisquits from the panda in the foxes biscuit adverts? I always call biscuit, Bisquits. Also I'm just happy to see were ever you go on the trip. 🙂
Really good video John I'm glad that you are going to be able to make a road trip. Health wise you are looking really good I hope that you are doing well. The studio looks nice. As always ready good video thanks for sharing.
Thank you Howard. I'm really feeling much better. I should have waited on showing the studio. Since the furniture change (at Lucy's request) it really looks different. Oh well, it still works great! LOL
When you get to northern Wisconsin I have vacation land with power and water you are welcome to use. Just off of highway 53 about 40 miles from lake superior. You can give me a holler when you get in the area
Hi Gerald. What a wonderful offer. I'm not sure where I'll be in northern Wisconsin but I'll definitely keep this in mind. Thank you for your generosity.
Hi Bob. I'm sure trying to get in the rhythm of one a week. I'll be filming as much of the prep time as I can. Thank you for your interest and support.
Good for you on getting going and doing. I'm starting preparing to retire myself. It's more intimidating than I anticipated, walking away from a business of 35 years and selling off property. Also emptying the house of 40 years of accumulations of all sorts of stuff is another challenge. Looking forward to seeing your trip.
I'm so excited to get on the road again. I didn't have to retire. I got retired. So it was pretty easy on me. I hope you handle it well. My dad did well with the transition and enjoyed his retirement. I'd imagine selling out and going full time would be a little stressful. Maybe try to think about the future and memorialize the past would help. I have figured that if I ever got the chance to go fulltime, I would rent some storage space for stuff that is just too hard to let go. Still cheaper than operating a house. Anyway, thank you for the interest in "Road Trip 2020". Hope to meet you on the road sometime. Happy Trails.
Bout time you got off your duff and started moving , LOL 😂! Best to you John and remember planning is half the fun. Looking forward to your adventures and I hope you finally got the bugs worked out of that pesky generator. Take Care and have FUN !
Yep. I finally got my head together and now I stay as busy as I can. I hope you enjoy the trip. I think it will be very interesting. sigh The generator still isn't working, but I found a guy who is going to see what he can do as soon as the weather improves. Supposedly he used to be an Onan mechanic. We'll see. Thanks for all of your encouragement. You and a few others litterally saved my life. I'll do my best not to waste your efforts.
Looks really fun. Could you tell me what map website/program you are using? It made me feel pretty stupid. I use Google maps and save to favorites, and it puts a heart on them. I have tried to get different icons, but I only get blue or green pins. Could you maybe do a short video on how you got the ghosts on the map?
Sorry, but this is going to be a disapointment. I found a map with the ghost locations already marked. I copied the picture and then found a map of the waterfalls and repeated the process. Then I overlayed the waterfalls map over the ghost map at 90% transparency so I could mark the locations on the ghost picture. Removed the waterfall map and put the (handmade) blue diamonds where my little marks were. Then I just saved the combined routes into a final picture and used Microsoft Paint to animate the route. So I really didn't do anything cool. Just smoke and mirrors my friend.
@@GeezerAtTheWheelGang Wow! Now that is impressive. That took some doing on your part. I taught kindergarten for many years, and I did all kind of nifty stuff by scanning images. Never considered overlaying maps. Great idea.
Wow John that sounds like a spooky trip...lol 🤣 happy you are well and ready for taking some adventure road trips. We was set to hit the road on January 1st, but I had a few health issues. We now plan on hitting the road in med March. We sold our home and living full time in our motorhome jumping back and forth at some of the local Thousand trails RV resorts. Like you I am ready to hit the road. John enjoy your trip it sounds like it will be a fun adventure and I wish you the best.
Hey Ron. Sorry to hear about the health issues. I hope not real serious and you feel better soon. Are you pretty much settled into the MH? I hope you have a fun, safe and happy time once you get back out there. I'll be looking forward to more vids. Memorable Travels to you and yours.
Awesome trip John, I hope you make the eastern part of it. We will be in northern Wva close to Interstate 70. Morgantown WVa. We will be there most of the summer so I hope we can meet up somewhere within a few hundred miles.
Hi Denny. I hope I make the whole trip too. This will likely be my last shot. I checked the map and it looks like a meet up would be absolutely possible. It would be great to meet you folks. Let's pencil that in ... deal?
Hi Byron. I like the idea of a meet up. However, I'm old and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. If you would please drop me an email (anytime) I will more likely to remember. And/or, if you haven't yet, join our Facebook Group. I'll update where I am and where I am going as often as I can there. And you could remind me there if you like. There is info on both options in this video description area. I hope we make this happen. Thank you for your interest.
Great to hear about the trip. Greezer the Ghost Hunter. :)

Congrats on the new trip! Enjoy it and I will be traveling along with you.
Thank you. If you're going with me, we'll be splitting the gas. LOL Just kidding.
Sounds like it's going to be a great trip. Praying for your health my friend. Can't wait to follow your journey.
Thank you Randy. I'm feeling pretty well, but I certainly appreciate a word or two on my behalf. Happy Trails to you and Ms B.
