I love stealth adrenaline cause it let's me use the bomb arrow on collapsible walls or the valkyrie dive on red doors. Cause I hate having to run around looking for the bomb vases.
I think it's a huge misconception to call the wolf tree the "ranged" tree. Given the fact that every tree uses their own type of bow, blue is more of a utility tree. It has perks to buff everything.
use the sprint attack with a spear, your character does Achilles like move, but its weaker than in the movie, in the movie Achilles kills Boagrius with one strike, which is even in this day and age of Marvel CGI fuckery one of the sickest kills ever recorded in movies
Although stealth adrenaline has no combat practicality as you said I think it's a fun gimmick. I think it is meant to depict the adrenaline rush/ fear one might feel when doing any of the actions listed in its description (picking pockets and looting chests in restricted areas).
I totally agree, but it doesn't come nearly in line with the other adrenaline skills. If you could pickpocket every enemy that would be one thing, but because you can really only steal from a select few it kind of loses it's luster, at least in my opinion.
In my opinion wolf is really like a support tree for the other two trees. Except hunter bow combo, the rest of the "game changing or impact" abilities are not range at all. You can go full stealth, pick hunter bow combo and destroy with the bow when you have to fight, without needing any of the rest of the range abilities.
@@makkii1 Charged shot is not that good imo. And grit is not a range skill. 12 skills in the wolf tree, and there's only two range related that are worth taking. The rest are really bad, useless or not range and more like support (like grit) or mele (like sprint attack)
@@MegaStoudemire charged shot imo is by far the best skill in the game after grit, highest burst of any ability or attack in the game. With charged shot you can one shot any equal level enemy in the game with a body shot and for bosses you can hit them for 1/5 or 1/4 if their hp with one shot, and im sure that if i actually runed my bow or noded for it or used gear that augmented ranged damage that might make it 1/3 or even 1/2 a bosses health. I play primarily melee builds but if i ever feel the need to just flat out kill something i have charged shot in my pocket. On top of that grit literally shaves off a whole difficulty level with how strong it is. Arrow reinforcement and hunter bow combo are core if you wan’t to be a dedicated archer and bow stun finisher and bow to melee link are helpful and nice to have though not core. Battleground bolt while not augmenting bow play is a great ranged ability that does as much damage as a good harpoon and all but guarantees a stun on the enemy. I agree that spring attack isnt really a ranged ability but its useful for all builds and if used with double spear does augment a ranged playstyle well, in that you can run away from the bulk of enemies and sprint attack then alt attack them from the other side. None of these trees are built to be used exclusively, and while i think that raven is the most independently useful its very easy to make the case that the wolf tree os as useful as the bear.
