    Leaving Harley & going Indian was the best thing I could have ever done! Power/suspension/technology & comfort …. But as I tell everyone,buy what you like!

    Thank you for this video. I’m looking at trading my FTR on a challenger and saw the new Road Glide and thought that looks nice. But hearing you talk about the suspension, power, braking my mind is made 😂. I am at this where ride quality means more than the brand image. Plus Indian has a badass brand image anyway.

    Listen man this is been the same exact comparison that's been done a thousand times even with the small changes. Listen there is NO COMPARING THE BIKES! Its literally Apples to Oranges...black to white..I won't go into details but here is the bottom line..If you want a better MOTORCYCLE get an INDIAN....if you want better support and to be part of a lifestyle then get the Harley. Lets see..Better bike or more t-shirts to choose from...INDIAN CHALLENGER ALL DAY !

    Wish Harley would put in a Matte paint option. That's what I do like about the Indians. Love that Matte finish look much better than the glossy paint.

    Good Morning / Evening , First off I'd like to commend you on making this tutorial on the differences between the Indian Challenger and the New 2024 HD Road Glide . Ok so I've owned 5 HD Street Glides and 5 Big Dogs , so i might have an opinion about a few things. I currently ride a 2016 SG with 20,000 +/- . I love it because I changed out the stereo to and after market ) and the bikes STARTS Every time ! ( Haaaaaa) Can't say that for the 2024 Street Glides or the Road Glides . I went to ride one, one day and it wouldn't start and needed to be flashed not once but 5 times not to mention It broke down on me . UGH ! Every thing that you've spoke about is about spot on with Harley . So for this year they ( Harley) will not be getting any of my pension . Now to the Indian .. love it . Not a fan of it' gremlins either .. the battery going dead , and those mirrors and the God awful prices for their parts ! BUT the Challenger is a by Far Superior bike than Harley . I will get a Challenger in the near future.. I'd like to see some better paint from them but time will tell . ANYWAYS Thank you for doing these videos . Your doing a Great Job and you connect with us out here and speak our lingo ! ~ Bill

    I just came from the Indian dealership today looking to buy a bike. After looking at the Harley and Indian I just had to go with the Harley. Looking at the Indian it just appeared everything looked so cheap and the fit and finish looked poor. I’m sure it’s a good bike but the Harley looked much better. Maybe next bike will be an Indian, but for now Harley takes my money .

    My two cents on your video, clearly it’s difficult to rate a bike writhing a 10 mile ride. The other thing is that since you have the Indian you relate everything to that. The controls are fine once you ride enough. The inner fairing is fine not cheap at all

    Brembo brakes have different designs, it's not just the brand that matters. Standard HD branded Brembo brakes are not the same as the Challenger and new CVO's radial mounted Brembo brakes. Much different than the standard HD, and other Indian models. Night and day / modern vs outdated.

    If you want to compare motorcycles then throw in the ole geezer glide rode sofa “Goldwing” before you say it ain’t cool to have a Honda Goldwing nobody has Honda tattoos and aftermarket is limited blah blah blah I probably agree. Compare prices, performance, comfort, fit and finish, runs on 87 octane etc etc but my point is “bone stock out the door” the old man glide comes out on top except for the cool factor.
    Remember if bone stock means buy it for $30,000 or less fill it up with 87 octane change oil and tires etc and you get all the bells and whistles the manufacturer/dealer won’t nickel and dime you at every chance just to be cool. I know someone can argue with me about this but the fact is the Goldwing will easily last 300,000 miles with no engine work or modifications and it comes with more horsepower and torque an all options included no need for aftermarket but you can change slip and seat windshield grips etc your preference. Goldwing aren’t cool got it but if you want to ride a lot of miles try it on the most dependable affordable comfortable powerful out of the box touring bike. You will save thousands of dollars on engine upgrades and modifications aftermarket toys and gadgets tattoos Tshirt etc etc and when you pass a Harley or Indian that don’t wave you know why because you are doing the same thing but much much better and that’s how I stay cool 🤙
    Make a video somebody on 3,4or 5 years of ANY Indian or Harley (any bike you choose) vs the Goldwing cost of ownership minimum 3-5 years minimum 80,000-150,000 miles and show the world I’m wrong

    • @jdubb67
      @jdubb67  9 дней назад

      @@mikedunn2022 fair point I have nothing against the goldwing I don't usually compare it to these types of bikes because in my opinion it stands apart it's its own thing. A class of its own and there's nothing wrong with it nice bike just don't feel that they belong in the same category

    • @mikedunn2022
      @mikedunn2022 9 дней назад

      I love ALL motorcycles before you get your feelings hurt but remember minimum of 3 to five years bone stock 80,000 to 150,000 you can’t do any engine work only general maintenance plugs oil change tires brakes etc let Harley build their bike Indian build their bike vs the Goldwing
      with more power/torque more affordable over the years cost of ownership lower and ALL OPTIONS are included in the initial purchase with no aftermarket parts necessary the Honda Goldwings only flaw is that the bike isn’t cool
      I love Harleys and Indian has beautiful bikes too but in a comparison of bikes that each manufacturer produces such as this video based on what topics were discussed the Honda Goldwing set the bar by which all others are trying to achieve.

    • @jdubb67
      @jdubb67  9 дней назад

      @mikedunn2022 feelings aren't hurt I like the goldwing and you're absolutely right about cost of ownership compared still say the goldwing stands alone as its own thing haven't met too many people who were considering one of these bikes and then say " well I should probably go look at a goldwing" not saying there aren't people like like that just don't know many my uncle has a goldwing he owned Yamaha for years and loved them. When it came time for him to retire he didn't even consider a Harley or an Indian he knew he wanted a goldwing. So no hate towards the goldwing just didn't think it belonged on this particular vid

    • @mikedunn2022
      @mikedunn2022 8 дней назад

      @ I totally agree it doesn’t belong I was just making the point of based on the video weighing the pros and cons of one bike over the other was bull crap it’s just whole heartedly preference of brand because if it’s about the pros and cons (touring bikes) that’s where the Goldwing comes in
      I love Harley Davidson motorcycles
      I also have never owned an Indian motorcycle but would love to
      but in a compassion of touring bikes such as this video it’s clearly a preference of the Indian over the Harley in the video because of X Y & Z
      is supposedly better on an Indian motorcycle and I was merely pointing out that if you are going of pros and cons neither bike is the best the Goldwing is but if you prefer Harley or Indian based on “brand” then I understand and totally agree
