never tried those products! their mascaras are amazing, and their pressed powder is great too - rly good coverage, so much so that i use it to tidy up my (eyeshadow) eyeliner!

Maybe the primer and foundation don’t mesh together. Also, with that concealer, I like to let it sit for a minute and then blend. Seems to work better for me that way. Loving the longer content Steph ❤❤

That foundation! Rimmel changed the formula from the 25hr to the 35hr and it's horrible! The 25hr was my daily, but they totally ruined it with this new formula. Glad to see someone recently review it. Love your headband btw 😁
Rimmel seem to renew foundations way too often... usually for the worse. I wish they would bring back their 9 benefits BB cream as the Very Light shade was so perfect for me. Its not full coverage enough for special occasions but for a quick base its awesome I just hope the ebay ones I've been buying aren't actually 5 years old ..I know they are only going bad from when oxygen hits them but they should really sell super old discontinued products.

i use my finger to blend out the elf brightening concealer under my eyes i think it looks better plus the warmth of your fingers makes it melt in better x
Yes to the trouser idea!!! Been doing the same thing for years.. I try to use an old dye towel but if I sit down amd forgot it.. I'm definitely not getting back up to get it.
Sitting out boxes of opened baking soda like you would use to absorb smells in the fridge can help a bit. Not magically gone, but helps absorb the smell faster. Had the same thing happen at my mom’s house a few years ago and tried everything to try to help. Still can’t stand the plugin air freshener scent we used then.
You need to ring pest control up about that smell. In our old house we had a manky smell and turned out was a dead rat in his floorboard between upstairs and had a smell coming through a light, called them and they took it out and killed the flies that was near it was horrible xx

Yes ..design the makeup remover phants !!! Great idea! Try making an apron instead...That would be easier to design and find the materials...You can easily wipe hands on that for sure and it covers your clothes
We had something similar. Do you have a fireplace? Is it in that corner? It could be issues with chimney. We had that issue and it was actually starting to be toxic. If its an animal, well ya gotta get it out. Either way, you should get someone in that specializes in these sorta things.
Try the foundation with a sponge. Thicker formulas usually work better with a sponge and thinner foundations with a brush. Also might be worth trying a water based primer to match the foundations water base.

That smell is it near your refrigerator? If so I suggest checking the drain that runs underneath. We found a chipmunk in ours one year, absolutely horrible all the way around 🤢

My parents had a dead mouse inbetween the wires of the dishwasher. Everytime the machine was running the smell got worse. It took days to figure it out

I’m in America and that Rimmel foundation is hands down better than 98% better than my high Enders. I have to order from Amazon because I can’t find this one in stores. I am not a fan of the Elf Putty Primer Edited: I’m mature skinned, aka Old AF ( lol) , with the driest skin imaginable 😢, with a shit ton of texture. I have a few videos using the Rimmel Foundadtion. Enjoyed the Elf Brightning thingy too, I have the YSL as well, and enjoy the ELF way more! Another Edit : LOL , that Catrice Highlighter is freaking amazing on me…….it will never replace my Milk n Cookies tho. When things went downhill with that colab, I made sure I had some backups.

Hi steph 62 year old lady here, have you done ant videos on profusion cosmetics they are at super drug they do a good range of products I've got the lipgloss set from boots apparently they only do this set at Christmas but it's fairly good and all the range is affordable, if you've all ready done a video then I've missed it somehow. The mascara didn't work for me 😢 the wand was great but I found the formula too dry, after a few hours of wear I found bits would get in my eyes and irritate them. Also..unpopular opinion, I tried all the elf putty primers and they were all really drying on my skin, was really gutted . On a positive note, your eyes are stunning ! X

I can never find a foundation that works I’m 41 with combi skim but mainly oily and porous Find it so hard to find something light without the heavy feeling I need a lot of coverage I’m ginger with old acne scars so it’s hard to find the perfect colour Amd coverage Need help man x
Jade, are your acne scars textured or coloured? Like pink or brownish spots (hyperpigmentation). I'm assuming the latter since you want coverage - as those 'fun' craters actually get worse when using foundation... Anyway: high % vitamin C serum! And if you can afford it, try a few peelings with a skin therapist. The texture will diminish a tad when doing that and the pigmentation scarring gets much lighter. The whole skin will look better after a peeling (it needs to heal for a few days, though). And then simply apply the VitC serum on a daily basis and I'll guarantee that you'll need way less coverage after a while. Don't expect huge differences in two weeks or so. You'll have to use it consistently for a few months to really see those scars disappear, but I thought that was worth it. Also, if you still have acne, that serum can help in other ways. I got my acne back when I went into menopause (ugh ) and it worsened due to my B12 injections (that I medically need). But some serum on the cystic acne bump or regular pimple and the inflamed a-hole is at least halved, if not more, the next morning. And the redness is also way less. Vitamin C serum also happens to be anti inflammatory, so that's why. I hope this will help you! (As my skin is as dry as the Sahara I can't help you with foundation, alas. Though maybe the viral going TirTir cushion foundation is your thing?. The red one is for oily skin and super high coverage. However, if you buy: watch Robert Welsh here on RUclips *before* applying. He has a video on how to apply cushion foundations as most people use way too much and don't use the puff correctly. I'm going to test their silver or white one, as that one is natural looking and more dewy for dry skin). NB. If you have freckles and don't want to lose them, then only apply the VitC jùst on the scarring, like stipping and massaging it in, not using over your entire face. Vitamin C has a brightening and lightening effect and I actually lost almost all my freckles due to my acne scarring treatment. They're back now, though not as strong as they were, as I purposely sunned without SPF a few times and stopped Vitamin C for quite a while.

I had the rodent issue couldn’t get to it it just goes away eventually I would of literally had to take a wall down anyway I moved from there years ago as the landlord never helped now I have a lovely home sorry no advice x

I think it’s time to be honest. When I’m doing my make up at my vanity, I wear my 25 year old robe over my clothes . I wipe my brushes and my fingers on my robe ! I’m not gonna waste a Makeup wipe or my cotton rounds nor am I getting up to wash my hands… nor am I going to stain any of my towels. Yes I can designate an old towel but I’ll probably spend too much time looking for it when I need to do my make up and I don’t wanna dirty towel laying around my vanity…. And it’s funny, because the make ups mirrors are only on the right side of my robe at my thighs, and the rest of the road is clean 😑. I don’t care it’s what works for me … although I have been embarrassed once in a while it’s like the UPS man is at the door and I open the door looking like a crazy old bag lady who’s having a conversation with nobody because I do talk to myself and I talk loud…

I wipe my brushes and my fingers on my robe ! I’m not gonna waste a Makeup wipe or my cotton rounds nor am I getting up to wash my hands… nor am I going to stain any of my towels. Yes I can designate an old towel but I’ll probably spend too much time looking for it when I need to do my make up and I don’t wanna dirty towel laying around my vanity….
And it’s funny, because the make ups mirrors are only on the right side of my robe at my thighs, and the rest of the road is clean 😑.
I don’t care it’s what works for me … although I have been embarrassed once in a while it’s like the UPS man is at the door and I open the door looking like a crazy old bag lady who’s having a conversation with nobody because I do talk to myself and I talk loud…
