That's one thing I've always liked about these particular turtles, they are basically the ''Merchandise Turtles''. The ones we never got toys of but saw on lunchboxes, backpacks, t shirts, etc. Lol. Only have Mikey, but plan to grab the other 3 soon-ish.
It is a real shame we won´t get more out of this line! This in my opinion are the best looking Cartoon figures out there! I wish I could have gotten a Slash, Leather Head, a Beebop for the love of God !
The shells are actually on a double ball joint, and can be shifted in any direction. This will aid in posing, in cases where the shoulder articulation is being hindered by the shell. The shells can actually pop out of the ball, which mine did on accident (when I first discovered they were articulated), but the belts are glued onto the shell, so I don't recommend trying to pop them out, since you risk them coming unglued if they are too heavily forced.
Nice review. I learned quite a few things. I’ve seen these figures in store but never purchased any. I had no idea that the legs with die cast. Makes the price point more understandable.
Yeah they were definitely on the higher price side of things, and I believe that contributed to lackluster sales. But now you can get them for less than $40 pretty easily, lol.
So they got the lighter skin colour, the outlining on the front of thr shell, but they didn't get the belt buckles right. Pretty odd..especially considering the original prototypes were shown off with the correct promotional art buckles.
These are cool, figuarts needs to wake up and make more turtle stuff!

I would kill for this line to be able to continue. Maybe they'll surprise us at SDCC, lol.
Lets pray brother ! Fingers crossed!
The more I mess around with this set the more I like them . I just wish they had more than two head sculpts.

The diecast is a huge plus for these guys, they feel more substantial and it really helps with stability.
Do the hands of these figures work on the classic collection turtles?
Great review, a shame they have to retail for over $60 in the US; sold mine off since we’re not getting shredder.

I'm pretty sure the original TMNT cartoon Turtles all had medal buckles and not yellow and black ones.
Can anyone tell me if the ball joint in his arm is in die cast?
Cool
