if you want to see more of their growth in terms of musicality, vocals, and such, then I recommend starting from debut. but it's also not bad to go backwards. either way, you're gonna love them more ❤️🔥
Their best albums imo are: Formula of Love Eyes Wide Open Twicecoaster Lane 1 & 2 And I love “Feel Special”(mainly because of Love Foolish). Oh and whatever you do DO NOT miss “Formula of Love” lol because that album is a masterpiece!
Either from debut to now or the other way around is a good idea, I think people usually recommend going from most recent to debut because the newer fans got to know them through their current era so what we call ''Twice 1.0'' might be too much of a change for them, if you're open for a kpop sound from back then, go for it, if you think it'll be too overwhelming of a change, backwards might be the better idea! They explored a lot of genres and styles in both eras and the evolution didn't really feel like a sudden shift but to put it into years, their 2 eras are basically 2015-2018 and 2019-2022, I'd say the release of Fancy and its EP in 2019 is what started the 2nd era since its what put their name in the radar of global critics as well as a wider audience

Mine was a random start. I started with the album “THE YEAR OF YES” because it was the Holidays when I discovered TWICE. Then EYES WIDE OPEN, FEEL SPECIAL, FANCY YOU, BDZ, MORE and MORE, MERRY and HAPPY, TASTE OF LOVE, FORMULA OF LOVE, and then the debut album onwards.

If you want to watch the entertainment side, there are a lot of content (RUclips, Vlive, T realities, etc) or if you want to first hear their music there are also a lot to hear (taste of love, formula of love, more & more, feel special, perfect world, celebrate, etc) so is depends on what side of them you want to know first. The fan in me would tell you, react to whatever u want. When i discoverd Twice i would go to random songs and just progressively go thru content and funny videos getting to know the members ect ect.. The RUclipsr in me would tell u, to react to the newest realeses and progressively go down bcs imo that is what would bring u the best interactions and viewer ships. Or even start with the Between 1&2 album then Formula of Love skip to Eyes wide open the go back to Taste of Love and progressively go down the albums till their debut, maybe even mixing in the Newest Japanese albums (depending on copyright ofc). Thats how i think it work best as a "what ppl want to see most" scenario. 😅

I know you said before that you dont want survival show. Before i was just listening to their song because my daughter loves it. Until my husband notice tzuyu so i started searching like clips of tzuyu with twice member which i find fun, then i come across sixteen which made me curious how they debuted, and then i watched it (twice made me do it!) I dont actually fond of watching anymore but i just want to know them better, and when i fnish sixteen its such a fulfillment to me knowing how they start and what difficulties they have gone through before becming twice ♥️, its like so precious when you watch them

Paused the vid in the begining to give my 2 cents on your album reaction "schedule" question. I'll try to make this as short as possible. Watching people react to something is a way for the viewer to live the moment they watched/listened to the M/V /song for the first time again. Older fans are more attached to the older stuff , newer fans are more attached to the newer stuff because those are their strongest "first times". Other factors that can play their part as to what people suggest are personnal preference for songs/albums or especially for older fans understanding what the reactor likes so they will probably suggest songs/albums/M/Vs that have high chance to be enjoyed by the person reacting in order to "ease" their way into the group and by the time they reach the songs they'd normaly won't like they are already hooked to the group first and foremost and the music comes second. My personal view on the matter is that newer fans are more likely to enjoy a backwards order which achieves 2 things. One is that it's more relatable to them so there is a minimal chance of a "shock" from the way the songs sound/vibe and second it's that when new stuff come out while doing the album listens it won't feel so disconected sound wise because B-sides from i.e "The story begins" and B-sides from "Between 1&2" are VERY different. Lastly I find it interesting and enjoyable to watch people reach the debut days going backwards and then a new single/album comes out and they trully realize the growth of the group because of the big difference but that shock is a good one since they already know who TWICE is. Edit : "Alcohol Free" is one of their best tittle tracks hands down and probably shares the No1 spot with "I can't stop me" for songs that came after the "Feel Special" era for me. BUT 2021 was their Japanese year since I consider "Perfect World" one of their best albums ever and their Korean releases didn't get that much attention from me. "Better" (that came out Nov 2020) was my No1 played song for 2021 and still was in my top 10 for 2022.
Here’s my perspective on how to listen to the albums. I think you have a higher chance at being spoiled on their earlier music if you continue watching Time To Twice, because even though some episodes feature clips of newer songs, they definitely feature a lot of older songs. So if being spoiled is something important to you, then I’d suggest starting from the beginning. But beyond that, in my personal opinion, I think their discography is equally enjoyable either direction you go, so just go with what you feel. I personally dove into their bsides in 2019 and I started with their latest working backwards, but I likely would’ve enjoyed it just as much going through other way!

I think the first album to get to know Twice is "Eyes Wide Open" (title track I Cant Stop Me). Then you can continue with "Taste of Love - title track Alcohol Free", then "Formula of Love - title track Scientist" and finally "Between 1&2 - title track Talk That Talk". Then you can go back to the beginning and listen from "The Story Begins - title track Like OOH AHH" to "More&More". We can divide Twice into two as before and after "Eyes Wide Open" album, but I must say that Twice has 2 albums that should definitely be listened to, one is EYES WIDE OPEN and the other is FORMULA OF LOVE. Anyone who listens to these 2 albums will clearly see who the real Twice is and how talented they are. (Note: By the way, I have been listening to kpop, that is Twice for 2.5 years, I am a little new, older fans/ONCES may think differently :))
then work forward and in the end you can wrap up with a nostalgia trip with Twisecoaster :D (and I can be biased since Yes or Yes was my first comeback lol )

Although we might be a bit more excited for you to listen to the latest albums I think it doesn’t matter if you start from the beginning (debut) or the last album out so far it all depends on what you want to do because either way you will see how much they have grown and how much work they have put in each comeback it’s either you see them going from very young rookies with a lot to offer growing into their own selfs and diverse sound or you start with them being at their best so far to going back either way you’ll appreciate the growth and talent that they offer it all depends on where you want to start 🙆♀️🫶

I agree with u but i think the switch began with Fancy the korean bside music quality went up and really kicked off with Feel special mini.
