Great video thanks! We understood The Villages has an Amenities Fee (golf, tennis etc) in addition to the CDD - initial infrastructure assessment (bond - can be paid off) and ongoing maintenance assessment.
So glad you included Ocala Preserve! I went under contract there last May and my home is nearly done (woo hoo). I became an early member so I can enjoy all the amenities. I LOVE this community and even though I have not moved in yet, I am already making friends and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Plus the community itself is just flat beautiful.
My husband and I have been watching your videos quite frequently, as we are in the market for purchasing a new home end of this year. We are pretty much closing in on Solivita. Your videos are very informative and we like the layout. If there is one suggestion we could make, it would be to add diversity as one of the areas of discussion. Specifically as people of color, moving to an area we know nothing about, it’s important for us to know that we will be moving into an area/community where inclusion is a welcoming factor. This is true. I talk to people here from Georgia who want to relocate to Florida for the same hateful, decisive environment they are finding in Florida. Scary people.

You might want to update the video, as a snow bird at spruce creek preserve. You would be lucky to find anything under 300,000, 150 HOA fee.
