I have until now just been a card maker but now I am going to venture out because I love your projects soooo much!!! I am going to start buying those lovely paper packs or individual pretty papers that I have always loved but thought I didn't have a need to purchase. Paper will probably now become ANOTHER OBSESSION for me. Oh My!!!
I am going to make a few Christmas themed ones for gifts. I have an over abundance of Christmas paper. I have made books before using cereal boxes instead of chipboard. I glue 2 pieces together and "voila" you have heavy chipboard pieces. A friend who still has kids at home saves her cereal boxes for me. Frugal and it works! Thanks for sharing these. I loved the box video, too. You are so talented, and speak plainly and concisely when you do a tutorial. For me, who is hearing impaired, that's such a blessing. Thank you!!

Thank you for your tutorials. I just made one. I used the Elastic closure that you showed on one of your newest video. Also my notepads are not as long as the one you used, so I added a pen holder on the top. It turned out well, so I will be making more as gifts.🙂
This turned out beautiful. Please always keeps mistakes in the video so we can see how you fix them. I am working on the uncoiling a spiral notebook and have covered front and back of chipboard punched holes. Now I am on the back side of the notebook. The flimsy paper cover was roughed up one of the holes for the coils got ripped. I'm doing this so it will become either a prayer journal or scripture writing journal.
You know what I love about this custom work? I could apply the pad to the left side of the cover to work with my left hand. I love hard bound journals but I can’t write as well as I’d like to when my hand hits the cover. Problem solved! Make my own!

Hello you, I was wondering if you could do a big mama box tablet. With pen and spaces for supplies. My grand daughter is a lefty and every time I see you make these I think of her.. She's into He!lo Kitty Sailor Moon and anime. I have struggle finding Anime but I will locate them.. I just love all your ideas and especially when you show how calm you are with correcting mistakes! Sherry I believe the deminsion on the cap piece for the tablet itself measurement you told us is incorrect, you gave us 8 3/4 by 3 .5 and it should be 5 3/4 by 3.5. Just wanted to let you know, I Love your videos! Thank you for all you share with us.
Hello Sherry me again. Just finished making this. My note pad measured 5 x 7 inches so your measurements were just right. I'm very pleased with how it finished. I decided to make a feature of the join on the front as your one looked so good. Not decorated yet, the pattern paper was quite a busy pattern in paisley swirls, so l think the feature on the front will be a pearl narrow panel with perhaps buttons or flowers added. I own a cricut and die cutting machines, I have to say making something from nothing without those machines is so rewarding. I have been making my own using your measurements. Can I make them and sell them with your permission. I don’t have any of the papers your are using. I’m trying to get rid of what I have by using my stash. I won’t sell them if you do not want me too. Not found your site till a couple of weeks ago but the difference you make are easy to follow and the finish you get using the simplest of items is amazing could you show sometime how you can make say one of the skinny pads as a reusable that could be used on other sizes, if not that's ok I just love watching your channel anyway in fact spent too much time watching and not enough time making as I paint as well but no time lol
