hey man, i have a learning disability, and i love your videos! ive made more progress in this video than in 10 years :) if youre reading this, thank you! METAAAAAAAAL!
This is the best guitar instructional video i've ever seen. In just ten minutes you laid the foundation for months of practice and made advanced stuff very easy to understand
i just wanna say bernth, ive saved more of your videos for repeat watching than anyone else i follow, you're one of the only ones whos videos i save frequently ;)
I just started playing in may, and have been consulting many different channels among apps to learn both music theory and how to play the guitar- and i have to say, your enthusiasm for the music as well as your ability to really hone down on the exact mechanism to properly recreate the techniques you talk about are incredible! greetings from germany!
We struggled like hell in the 70s. No one would show us anything. BERNTH makes you want to learn. I've played 50 years but not until the last 5 listening to people like you on RUclips.. I would have walked on hot coals to have you in 1973. Guitar player magazine was the only resource I had in the 70s. Thanks for all you put out here. I don't watch them all but I've learned so much from you. My playing is 50 times better.
I have a playlist called guitar butter, and your videos are often saved. You rock man, thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world. 🤘 There is a lot of information out there but your concise methods make it easier to approach and apply.
Bernth, I've seen some video's on YT, but the way you explain and show this info is really great the way you connect chord arpeggio and scale is a new and clear one to me, at the age of sixty one wants to see hear and learn and not see someone show off ore not capable of talking clear and comprehensive. Great job , Frank
I'm not well-versed in metal, but I love how metal has influenced progressive music. I am getting a ton of direction from your arpeggios and chord concepts. It keeps me evolving in ways I wasn't expecting THANKS 👏
in my younger days I listened to a lot of early Jon Luc Ponty, this reminds me of how he and his guitarist would shred on just arpeggios. now I understand what they were doing
This is super serendipitous. I have literally been watching Berth vids for the last half hr cuz the kids are asleep and the Mrs is doing her own thing. Mainly shred stuff and scales to practice. That’s A. B. The last two vids I watched were music theory ones and your first ever video with Music Theory title #1 was one I was wrapping my head around. And then you literally post this hahahahaha. Quantum entanglement yo! Metal Theory!!
Once again great presentation. I don't always get all the tips you share but what I do retain is immediately satisfying. Really keeps me wanting to practice, way fun. Big thanks
Hey Berth. Just realized your exercise is the exact notes for the intro to the Walking Dead series on AMC. Good job bro. I love your skill and teaching.
I play 12 string guitar in the genre I play we double the strings. I play Spanish music I don’t play metal but this channel has helped my improve sooo much thank you bernth!!!
A previous videoyou made has me mind blown. In 10 seconds you said something that unlocked it all. Immediately i knew what every note on the fret board was and i knew i knew it. It was strange and i dont even know what it was you said but thank you
Like some others I've seen here, I'm not that into metal and not interested in shredding, but tip #1 especially is golden! This will be part of my practice for sure.
Another extremely helpful video! Really enjoy finally being on your Patreon now, it makes these videos much more fun to interact with. You do such a great job with the GP files and backing tracks, thanks Bernth!! 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Have a subscribe, good sir. I just randomly watched your video and it seems like something that will really come in handy. I've been looking for someone who puts excersises in their videos. Cheers!
Thanks bro, you take the knoweledge further from begginers. This seems a little thing but doesn't. This is the right way from teach music and guitar... And free !! Thanks for it.
I'm definitely subbed. Subbed the first video I watched. I really like you're teaching, man. Keep it up. I like how you tell people, like in this video, to paraphrase, "yeah, it's hard and I understand your frustration, but keep going. Try this to help."
Dear Brother, Your teaching is very good indeed. You make serial numbered videos on LEARNING PROGRESSION from Basic to Advanced. Thank you very much for your nice video. With lots of love and regards, Jayantà Jit 19/08/2021

Very nice! Invaluable information for even the advanced player. Thank you! Soon I'll be applying these concepts to my Flametal guitar. Subscribed!
hey man, i have a learning disability, and i love your videos! ive made more progress in this video than in 10 years :) if youre reading this, thank you! METAAAAAAAAL!
I’m not even a metal player, but this may be the best teaching channel.
I don't even have a guitar, and I'm still subscribed...😉
I'm not a metal player either (classic rock, blues, reggae), but his tips are incredible.
Shun the non believers
Also not a metal player, but really appreciate his wisdom.
Yes, I agree.
That jazz chord thingie sounded killer.
"I didn't do anything special here"
*Proceeds to spread fingers wider than an only fans model's legs*
lol had that same thought...
Material mit dem man sich jahrzehntelang beschäftigen kann, erklärt in knapp 13 min. Bin kein Metal Fan aber mag deine Videos. Keep up that good work!
This is the best guitar instructional video i've ever seen. In just ten minutes you laid the foundation for months of practice and made advanced stuff very easy to understand
10:43 seriously dude, this riff is great! Thanks for sharing
i just wanna say bernth, ive saved more of your videos for repeat watching than anyone else i follow, you're one of the only ones whos videos i save frequently ;)
Same bro I listen to the lessons while I’m working been binge watching these kind of tutorials trying to increase my wisdom lol
Just wanna say thanks for your great energy and teaching! Your exercises and theory videos have really helped me evolve as a player:)

You're a lifesaver brother. Finally been taking guitar seriously after having it just looking rad on my wall for entirely too long
I have been playing for 10 years and I am finally starting to connect the dots. Thx Bernth. I have subbed your channel. 🇨🇦❤️

Much respect.

the riff in the end was so beautiful man

Your hands get into such abstract shapes so easily.
It is quite refreshing trying to play chords shapes I have never played.
I'm going back over intervals in my 10 Steps lessons and re-learning the names and how they apply, so this lesson is very helpful.
I'm not even a guitarist, but I love the teaching! Nice work!
in my younger days I listened to a lot of early Jon Luc Ponty, this reminds me of how he and his guitarist would shred on just arpeggios. now I understand what they were doing
Back in the day,, guitarist would be reluctant to share their licks. This channel is going to make everyone shred. thank you for the lessons!
This makes so much sense! I wish I had learned to practice this way 20 years ago 👍👍👏
Dude. Holy. Shit. The scales and arpeggios part just blew my mind. I don't know why I never saw it before, but holy crap. Thank you.
Another powerful lesson from our master!! Thank you!! These videos are very helpful and insightful. Keep them coming.
Thank you so much Master Bernth!

Wow. I know some of that but the way you approach it is so different then my approach. It blew my mind! 😮
You are awesome Bernth. Just liked and subscribed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills.

Brilliant analysis of the interelation between chords, scales & arpeggios.

Great channel! Greetings from Argentina
Haha nice intro...my hs music theory class was all I needed...basic stuff. easier with a teacher but definitely doable for a motivated guitarist
