    Great move by the Yankees. The Yankees now have the best starting rotation in Baseball IMO.

    I almost feel like this was a move just to say “we don’t need soto” because SPs is not what they needed over a 1st baseman, 3rd baseman, and CF to move judge to RF. I think bellinger and arenado have to be on the Yankees top list.

    • @henrywallacesghost5883
      @henrywallacesghost5883 4 часа назад +3

      You have to look at the Soto contract from a AAV point a view. Soto was going to cost a little over $50 million a year. They had roughly around $70 million to spend this year. They just spent around $28 million. That gives them around $45 million or a little more if they trade a player or two.

  • @BryantThompson-w1j

    The Yankees probably ain't getting back to the series and not because of soto leaving but they aren't clutch enough to win in the post season.

      You hit the issue on the nose. The one time year Houston isn't in the playoffs, they make the world series. Yankees can't beat heavy teams in the post season because the team wasn't well rounded.

    As a braves fan, this what we do. We get you in your prime on the cheap, then when its time to get paid, see ya. Do I want him still? Of course he's good. But he's had injuries, and that doesn't get better with age. let someone else pay for what you already djd, not what you most likely will do. We find young talent in the draft, if there good, we lock them up early with enough money offered that they can't turn down, then see ya when you want the bug bucks. Acuna? 8 years at 100 million. Steal. Spencer strider? 6 years 75 million. And about 4 others. When will ownners learn that paying bug money to players over 30 not work more times then do? We have the best GM in baseball in my humble opnion.
