I think it's more because Jinyoung has the empathetic tendency to take care of the members and mother them quite a bit, while Mark is like the intimidating quiet dad that steps in when things get too crazy and need order. JB used to be more of the father when he took himself a lot more seriously and let the leader title get to him, but he's relaxed a lot in the past few years and has become a lot more playful. Mark can be playful and a Marknae, but when push comes to shove he definitely steps into his role as the eldest.

From what i have seen, i think jinyoung is more dominant and assertive than mark. I know Mark is more vocal but Jinyoung is so subtle about it and much more frequent, he also has manhandled Mark many times and twirling hugs? Yup, MarkJin owns it and Jinyoung is the one to pick Mark up and twirl him around. Jinyoung likes to keep Mark close to himself to the point that he tries to force him by keeping his arm around him lol To me, JinMark all the way but either way, I love their relationship and love for one another so it really doesn't matter at the end.
