- Some raw shots of our ride between Idrija and Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, going back from Croatia to France. FAIL @7:50 : Max came to fast in the corner and tested his bike's offroad abilites :)
No music, just pure engine sound. First time riding on this road, with +20kg luggage on each bike.

how long can you ride on the smc 690 until it gets uncomfortable, and is it comfortable for a second person ? for max 150km ?

Funny the 690 has gearbox issues. I have a 2006 625 SMC with the old LC4 motor, its one of the best gearboxes I’ve ever ridden. Did I luck out and get a good one or were the LC4’s just better than the newer bikes? You may want to try a different oil to get it to work better. I run Castrol Power 1 full syntetic. I’ve put it in bikes that had gearboxes that felt like they were full of gravel and it smoothed them out a great deal, they felt like different bikes.
I ride a 2007 SM, using Motorex Crosspower Fully Synthetic and no issues with the gearbox.. I do sometimes hit neutral when riding hard, but it's all good and I'm satisfied.

Nope, oil change before and after the trip, which was roughly 5000km.

+xMighty777 Just the original gopro mic, with the micover on it (google it if you don't know what it is). Cheap and very efficient :)

We ride sport tyres. Try that with touring tyres if you wanna end your life...

Moi je déteste les PP perso, certains du groupe aussi, c'est spécial les pneus pointus... Surtout quand tu mets une gomme merdique dessus...

J'ai toujours eu des PP sur mon DRZ donc je peux pas comparer, moi j'aime bien hehe mais un DR sa tire pas aussi fort que des KTM! Bref j'en prend note pour quand j'en aurai une!
