In the next installment of the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

After all those centuries you cannot even make light-impenetrable clothing? And on contrary, Lycans cannot make stupid floodlights of the Sun properties? Even in Blade series they were able to do something as simple.
The Lycans actually acquired hollow bullets filled with UV-irradiated fluid some time prior to the first movie. The vampires speculated that they were military tracer rounds purchased on the black market. (The Lycans actually acquired them via a renegade vampire court official who presumably sourced them from an illegal arms dealer).

All the vamps had to do was throw a bunch of silver nitrate grenades down into the giant funnel at the front door when they came in lol. They were bottled up in the hall

The Vampires couldn’t afford to buy some grenades or anti-armour bullets?
In the first they were wealthy and drove the lycans underground but the movie before this they were exposed leaderless and obviously lost access to their companies and wealth. Without their wealth they didn't have the same resources for R&D
Their weapons are geared towards eliminating lycans. Silver nitrate bullets, etc. None of which are made to go through those shields.
@@ThePartisan13it gets worse. They're geared to fight transformed lycans. Lycans in human form, fight like humans. Clearly the vampires never thought of that.
All they had to do was toss some silver nitrate grenades down I to the giant hallway the lycans were funneled in.... Shields he damned lol battle won in 10 seconds...
I'll never understand why vampires that are allergic to sunlight live in a place with windows. I'd either brink up the windows or make metal covers that automatically close when the sun comes up.
If she was as capable as was just depicted she should've been able to go through the entire Lycan army with relative ease and that would make an easy finale against Marius.

He stole Micheal from the lab Selene escaped from and drained him of his blood. He consumes it to make himself stronger similar to a hybrid but the blood was consumed raw and unfiltered so he looks weird and human like
