I listened to a podcast this morning which mentioned this ancient site in Rome and luckily I found your video once I got home. Very well done! Thanks for bringing a piece of Rome to us!
Greax Video!! The steady camera, your informative dialogue, all of it was excellent and very professionally done. I also loved that you added a little humor here and there to keep things light. Great job!!! I did notive that the lower we went the narrower the passageways and also the arched ceiling in the pass through areas. Very sturdy construction.
I just adore your videos. Fun Facts Interesting stories and lots of history. Miss your heygo walks but glad I found these as well as your amusing shorts,. Where can I send a donation?
Ciao Dianne! 😊 We had lots of fun during the livestreaming 😊 We have a Buy Me a Coffee page here: www.buymeacoffee.com/livevirtualguid Thank you so much 😊🧡
Very happy to hear that! 😊 Have a look a this article that we posted about it, it might be useful too: www.livevirtualguide.com/post/underground-rome-san-clemente-basilica/
We visited this place in 2010. It was one of the places that was most fascinating to me, and it’s wonderful to see it again. I don’t remember seeing a lot of the areas this video shows. I wish I could go back and see it again. One suggestion-the background “music” is IRRITATING and badly represents the video. Why not feature more classical music in the background that is fitting for what we are seeing?

Wonderful! But classical music in the background, per favore…
How do they build on top of without collapsing within the ones below?
Usually they either fill the buildings below with ground, or add pilasters to support the structure above
For those wondering it translates to son of a (rhymes with) gore
🕊️❤️✨💥
If there was already a church, why did they build another one on top of it? 🤦♂️
who else got hungry after watching this video?
The cult of mitra is the cult of the machine gun 😂🤦♂️
