The Nuggets were the best team in the west; by far. And the Celtics didn't want any part of Jokic. The Nuggets just had a match up problem with a team that was built to beat them with a whole bunch of bigs. And then when that team played the Mavs, they weren't built to beat the Mavs. The Nuggets won both games during the regular season against the Celtics. The Celtics aren't lucky because that is just a cop out. But if the ball bounces just a little differently in that Timberwolves vs Nuggets series, this finals would look a lot different. And yes, the Celtics are the best defensive team in the league. Not the Timberwolves.

They won BOTH of the games they played against the Celtics in the regular season. Sometimes the best team doesn't come out to go to the finals. Not a surprise that a weaker team like the Mavs made it past the Timberwolves.

I've been watching this series I'm a Celtics fan since the 80s. Looking going why are the rest making the refs making these calls. And I do the first game I was like okay cool celtics won game two i'm looking at it going that's a little weird. 33 rows around all in the fourth quarter by the way the refs have shut down the Mavericks, I want a fair game this is such a rigged series right now. The refs are calling plays like they're betting on the game.
Luka needs to play Defense, and the other players need to STEP UP AND SHOW OUT. To win a championship, it will always take a TEAM, not the dominance of one of two players. I wish I can do a coaching session with the Mavs as a team.
