'Build your model however you want to' should be a standard for the industry. I like to see what this channel does with models, Most of these I will never build, for one thing I don't have the time to do so. Party on!
I've used how you build models as my starting point, I buy what I can get locally in paints, glues, equipment and the like. Your videos are great for giving me ideas on things I can adapt to what I want to do. Bless the guy that's gave you the suggestion of using the cordless drill to scuff up tyres, that's why this community is so good.
1957 - 11 year old me, living on a farm with nearest neighbors 2 miles away. Their son was 2 years out of highschool working as an irrigation specialist making obsene money. He bough a 1957 Chevy with the Corvette fuel injected engine. I got a ride and became an instant fan. The car magazines had pictures and articles for the '57 300s. I thought they were OK, but they were just pictures - I wanted a '57 Chev. Seeing this model build - I was a fool. Beauty build. Thanks Chris!
Awesome build!!! 1st tune to play was Fresh Fallen Snow...hands down my favorite!!! Thanks for taking the time to share your build with us and I'm looking forward to the next one!!!
I get lots of ideas from you about building model cars. I have a lot of the things you use to help me build better. Some things I see used on RUclips I like, and I buys. Other things I see used, I don’t like, so I don’t buy them. Very nice build of an excellent kit. Great color choices. It really looks great. Thanks for sharing.
One of my Fave kits, built a few, Mopar fan here. Enjoy your videos and follow most and as they come out, building since 1963, still ejoying it . Keep it coming
kit came out 1997 ish, as a 300c, very nice kit, as i already know, this will turn out to be a beautiful beautiful build, i have one that is custom built with shark teeth, viper brakes and wheels, lowered nose and fuel injected 392,
Another great build video Chris the color you picked out is a vary nice color 👍🏻 looks great all finished 👍🏻 an thanks for the time and effort you invest for us in making your video's
I think like the Pontiac you built the other day this is another one in the series of well detailed kits AMT brought out in the late 1990s. Again, as a custom I would have liked some wheel options, but there is always the spares box for that, especially if you've got some of the recently rereleased Round 2 models that include such lovely tires and in some cases different wheels.
9:30 into the video: All the white plastic looks just like the stock / mild custom 1957 Chrysler 300 model I bought about 20 years ago (AMT / Ertl kit). It looks like the only custom touches in your kit are on the chrome tree and on the clear red tree. You CAN build a straight stock model from this kit.
Got one of the previous edition of that car on my bench right now (among 10-15 others). It's pretty good. I also have a stock version to build later. Not sure of the color. MAYBE Plum Crazy. Engine will be painted Hemi orange like the later Hemi engines. Will also try to transform the interior from front bench seat to two seats. Will also try to turn it into a manual. Love yours.
Great build, choice of color is classy understated bad-ass. Virgil had it right by keeping the chrome down on this car. You gave me an idea: You do up those early 70s Mopar Rallye Wheels so fine I'm thinking they might look cool on this ol' girl w/o whitewalls of course; then being that the 50s custom kits usually gave you the twin rear antennas I'd go with them, too parallel to angle sweep of rear fender. Thanks !!!! 👍🏻
@hpiguy you can build this completely stock other than the wheels. I built the previous issue of this and the wheels are are the difference between mine and yours. For this issue, all they did was add a couple “custom parts” and extra decals.
One of my all time complaints (I have a half dozen copies of that kit in stock form) is that there is not a pair of 300 logos for the body... they're large but hard to paint, now they have a version I absolutely will not buy that has them...

You can also get "helping hands" paint stands at Harbor Freight. About $5.

Your tips, techniques, skills, enthusiasm, and ability to easily explain are greatly appreciated. Build it your way. Modeling for everyone

i have a 57' Chrysler 300c AMT ( ERTL ) Stock Model Kit licensed 1999 i will be building in the future ... Awesome job Bud
Love those fins on the older cars. Thanks for the build.
Nice build Chris! Great color choices.
The ERTL era of this model was among the best kits I've ever built. I wonder if Round2 managed to keep the quality the same.
Another preview and nice build up! Thanks for sharing!
Very good looking Chrysler!

Chris, I have watched all your videos, best build by far, I did the, get all the stuff thing, hardly use any of it.

This is one from the John Mueller era. Probably one of the better tooled pieces. And yes it can be built stock
i like that smoke color
Great Job Have Fun Modeling👍

Nice rant at the end there!
i’m thinking michael torello’s black and white from the crime story tv series in the 80s! 😍😍😍

Very good rant!
I would've preferred a modern radial tires instead of the vintage BF Goodrich bias belted tires. It's a custom after all.
I watch all your vids. And i would like to know what cement you are using?
Please stop.... heheh you make me want to buy more kits.... Nice kit, love the engine detail especially and really nice color scheme.
Superb build. Thanks man...
wit them tail fins

Quick question sir, how often do you change your filter on the booth?
License to Drive? With the Corey’s correct?
nice Chrysler kinda looks like christen
AMT made several issues of the factory stock 300C, including a pre-painted kit, all based on the same tooling as this kit
What do you use for a clear coat. You spray it or brush it

Thanks
Fins for days.
It looks awfully stock to me.. (Gorgeous)
No stock version.... absolutely no sale.... custom cars are a wasted car
