For those aren't familiar with woods. Cocobolo has a 80 percent resin within the fibres. So you get that crazy overtones and huge sound like a cavern within your guitar and that is what makes coco so amazing.
@@HeartbreakerGuitars I bought the cocobolo one. Not so much that I prefer it directly, but it just seems to synergize so well with the Furch sound to produce a really unique guitar. The rosewood version is amazing but a little less distinctive. Like for Lowden I have the cedar walnut, I want the 'epitome' of the archetype to have a varied guitar collection. It's been working well to motivate me to play more. I'll play the Furch for a bit, get bored, pick up the lowden and it feels and sounds like a totally different instrument. Also have a Martin d-45 and santa cruz mahogany firefly. What am I missing (-:
Really great video. I have a Red Deluxe that is a combo of both of your guitars. I have the Alpine spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. I have started playing this guitar more than my HD28. Thanks again for the video!!
Our pleasure! And congrats on your joining the Furch family, or adding to it! The Red Deluxe is a model that's hard to compete with - They're incredible. Thanks for watching C.R. - we'll make some more videos for ya!
Great presentation and wonderful playing! Really interesting to hear the difference! Listening through headphones I preferred the Indian Rosewood guitar. But I am partial to that sound because I have the Furch Yellow Master's Choice which I chose because I really love the sound of Indian Rosewood back and sides. Always appreciate the quality of your content!!
Thank you for the kind words - we make these videos for you! The sound of IR on a Furch guitar is definitely hard to put behind another. You've got a great guitar!
Considering a Furch but they all see to be very bright tone wise. Not sure if its the recording or they are just on the bright side of the tone spectrum
Listening on my laptop through head phones. I liked the Indian Rosewood guitar, better. But, since the guitars feature different tops, I don't know what might be influencing the sound more, the tops or the bodies.
Not a fan of the pearl line that goes around the arm bevel area, can Furch just do it a tad bit better by having the biding go more natural and smooth. I know it’s just me being picky, sonically still a nice playing and sounding guitar…
A minor detail, but these works of art should please the player. We've not heard of any negative opinion of that edge before, but perhaps it's something they'll look at for future changes. We appreciate you watching and hope you are able to watch our other Furch videos as well!
That's quite a team supporting those beauties from Furch!
The best team on the planet!

Which do you prefer?

Beautiful guitars acoustically and aesthetically. Each has its own fantastic tones. Can’t pick one over the other. Have to have both.

That was awesome!!!
We appreciate you watchin - these shootouts are the most fun to record!
Very nice! Enjoyed the guitars and the playing. I prefer the Red Deluxe but they’re both stellar🎸
We appreciate you watching - thanks for the compliments! We'll make some more videos for ya ;)
Thanks Jason, Juan John and Toby. Looking for a wood combo with some more bass.
We've got plenty!

Think they are both superb.
Well we can't argue with that.

Very true. Hard not to consider all of the elements. Thanks for watchin!
Using a good mic can somehow produce a good sound. Why not plug it or just use simple camera to record?
Great question! We use good mics, because we want good sound! Let us know if you have any other questions!
