Cypher will win 🏆. You mentioned why you didn't know why he was there, while his power of understanding languages has technically evolved over the years to more of a power to interpret things around him. He's grown from human languages to computer/alien languages, he even learned how to fight in X of Swords through muscle movements aka nonverbal communication. He also read the room of the quiet council and figured out Magneto and Xavier's secret before anyone else. If he keeps evolving, he can possibly read global patterns and predict/plan for mutant responses ahead of any event. Keeping mutantdom on a path of higher evolution and survival. That's why he is my pick....👍🏾
I hope X-Man (Nate Grey) finally returns and comes back, if anyone has a history with Apocalypse, it’d be him from the Age of Apocalypse storyline.
No, he won't. He is currently in his own pocket dimension he created in Age of X-man and is content to stay there

@@SuiteVII i don’t think they would ever do that. Wanda was a weird case but storm has been a X-men since the second team. They might expand her godhood or something but she will always be known as a mutant
What about Rasputin as an heir? I feel like she'd be the best option, as she's basically here to not allow Sinister to win with anything... + her powerset is pretty insane.

I feel like they should have gone with Rasputin IV as the heir to Apocalypse. She could make a great X-Men villain and has a very diverse list of powers that would make her formidable.

10:26 not necessarily because once you become Apocalypse Heir you get a upgrade/power boost due to his celestial technology of being Apocalypse so any one of them can get to be Apocalypse level strong
If all the mutant abilities that have not been developed Cyphers & Forges is the least expanded. But my bet is Cypher mainly because Apocalypse will be changing him via Celestial technology and his ability to communicate to anyone could easily be expanded to anything.
Words have Power, and Power is something Apocalypse respects.

With the right writers, I wouldn't mind seeing Exodus take a good lead role. Second pick would be Gorgon, then Laura. Cabel would be interesting but it would have to be a convoluted explanation as to why and it would be short lived. Archangel already took his place once, and originally that is what Apocalypse wanted. It would make sense for him to be the successor but this time voluntarily, that would be interesting.

I’m surprised he picked Emma to be an heir and even more shocked that she agreed.
Forge could do well but I wonder how he’d handle the beliefs of Revelation.
Exodus doesn’t even agree so much with Revelations’s ideology. He is constantly looking for a messiah someone to guide him. He may have the power but his stance doesn’t match.
It's sinister it has to be. Nobody embodies the evolution aspect of apocalypse more than sinister
Let's just hope that writer remembers that Sinister actually has a bunch of powers this time around.
I’m so done with Sinister. After all he’s done he should’ve been exiled at best. While her power set doesn’t come close to any of the other candidates, I’m rooting for Wolverine anyways.

Been waiting for them to bring Holocaust back. Anyway, to Apocalypse fans what do you make of Apocalypse getting completely embarrassed by Magneto? Should that even happen? And why didn't he make a reappearance to defeat Nimrod, when he went down to Nimrod so easily in the Hickman run? Is Apocalypse underestimated, overestimated, not written well, or what ? I think they are treating him a bit carelessly at times. It's as if there's no shared vision about who he is, within Marvel.

My $ is on Exodus…2nd would be Synch…he technically been in the future lol! And has evolved passed his limits.
Also really don’t matter who wins tho…or their weak power set….one would imagine he’d use an Apocalypse seed or mutate and upgrade them.

Warren Worthington the 3rd Angel/Archangel will always b Apocalypse's best Horseman/most powerful Death. WWthe3rd is my fav low-key Marvel character.

I would like to see all of Apocalypse’s children’s in this story including Evan Sabahnur. I think he’s the best candidate for a just hair to Apocalypse.

cypher maybe has a special connection still with krakoa which I think is a factor that can lead him to win, we do know he does merge with krakoa in one of the moira timelines and you could say his bond with warlock is kinda like apocalypse having celestial tech. there's also possibility apocalypse will have his heir inherit part of his powers and that could be a notable boost to cypher whilst the likes exodus, sinister, emma, cable, etc. would be too broken.

I think its going to b Forge, because his Omega lvl potential is teased to be unlokced in the upsoming X-Force series. This would explain how it becomes possible for him to create anything. I was hoping that Synch would be a contestant. The obvious choice would b Rictor, but he probly changes his views later on in the series.
I'm fairly certain that Emma, Forge, and Laura will lose the tournament, since each of them will be in one of the new X-Books in From the Ashes. Emma in Exceptional X-Men, Laura in NYX, and Forge in X-Force
X-men is one of the best works ever created!
uncanny x-force was one of the first x-books i read start to finish so seeing genocide return is very nice (and also makes sense for an event called HEIR to APOCALYPSE)

@@Marx1684 if Apocalypse is written with justice and at best with all his powers, then Apocalypse has all the power sets of Uranos including Celestial technology and even more.

The death seed has the potential to make the Apocalypse as powerful as a Phoenix host.
1st issue so far didn't grab me ,will see where it goes though . Can't really imagine any of them being a proper heir to Apocalypse .

I think Apcocalypse chose Cypher because of X of Swords and his connection to Krakoa. I think he will respect his mind and resolve.

I'm confused as to why Emma, Laura, Forge, M or Exodus would care about this. Cypher seems like a shoe horn. Not sure why Cable isn't trying to stop this.

I'm going to guess Gorgon, he's a fringe character that a writers have free reign to do whatever they want with and they just brought him back specifically for this event.

3:02 That is such bs. I was waiting for the new reveal of Gorgon with a new outlook & spin on the character. I’ll take it but it seems lazy. This are is gorgeous though.
Saying at the start of the video, Exodus should easily win this if it's a battle.
I would like to see Rictor get it, he's had a pretty crazy upgrade and it just works for me. I don't see Forge getting anywhere near it, nor Cypher, or Dani. Sinister is already overpowered, Cable would be a great choice if it meant he could be free of the techno-organic virus which would be fitting considering Apocalypse infected him with it in the first place. Yeah, I'm pulling for Cable.
Plus, it works with the Excalibur stories that occurred in the Krakoan era

As much as I feel Laura's actually kind of perfect for this, she's gonna be in that NYX comic, so I doubt she'll become the heir to Apocalypse and then figure out a Post-Krakoa life in New York...
Not gonna lie, I think Cypher actually has a shot. His powerset seems like the antithesis of Apocalypse, but his language reading abilities include body language. You can't lie to him, and he can read your attacks before they are made. If he wins and gets a power boost from Apocalypse, he could be crazy.
