Nice video. A few "objections" from a Marbella resident:
Taxis - agree, but try Bolt or Cabify next time. But my advice is to rent a car. There are very cheap options to rent a car directly at the airport.
Flights & busses - there is a buss going directly from the airport to Marbella until midnight. But yes, both busses and metro closes during the night.
Hotels - If you also rent a car, you can get a hotel for very good prices outside of the city. But my advice is to do AirBnB. Hotels in Marbella is very expensive.

The tip of not booking our stay in old town was pure gold thank you! We’ll be there with my kids and mother in law and I was thinking old town would be perfect but after watching your video I know it would be terrible for my kids and mother in law! Thank you!!!
My husband and I will come back some time again just us too and stay in old town 🤣
It was loud. A lot of partying outside. IF you can go back, lucky you! I enjoyed being central, but somewhere quieter would have been preferred. Have a great time, we love Marbella!

Absolutely my kids and my mother in law would hate that 😂 I got a hotel a little far off the Marriott in Playa Andaluza so we can have a quiet night and head over to orange square or puerto banuz during the day. I appreciate your suggestion because it helped me make up my mind!

would you recommend Estapona or Torremolinos/Benalmadena
it depends what you want to do really. torremolinos is VERY bilt up and touristy but so is estepona now. estepona is a lot smaller than torremoilinos and a bit more spanish.
Have dessert (churros and chocolate would be my rec) in Plaza de los Naranjos.

When I was in Colombia UBER was horrible they kept cancelling. The next time I went I heard that UBER shut down.
That happened to us a lot. Same thing in Portugal too. It would say it was a few minutes away, and then suddenly be longer and longer and then they just cancelled. We ended up taking taxis with much less hassle.
Extremely easy to get a taxi from Malaga airport.
Horrible.
