I'd love to know what proportion of your desire to read the Liveships books is based on an actual desire to enjoy the stories, and what proportion is just about shutting Ed up, haha! I'll be wrapping up the Farseer trilogy once I'm done with Fury of the Gods and also hopefully tackling Liveships sometime in the next year - looking forward to it!
Hahah it’s been difficult! I’ve had to make sure to prioritise my own enjoyment and making sure I’m ready for Liveships… but it’s very difficult with Ed 🤣. Especially as he’s now going to try and read them before me…. Hope you love the rest of The Fury of the Gods!
I love this channel. Great list! I have all Papa Gwynne’s books as of Oct 22!! 🙌🏼 And I can’t wait to get back to The Badlands and then on to Bloodsworn. Right now I’m reading the Earthsea cycle as I never got to them as a kid. The depth of Le Guin’s messaging in her books using as few words as she does is amazing. Finished Realm of the Elderlings. I don’t think you really need to reread the first trilogy to read Liveship because they’re very different and barely interconnect. But I did love the Farseer trilogy! And you’re so right about GoT. I’m happy I waited to read it - which I’m still waiting to. lol Hoping to get at least one more. Loved Red Rising as a follow up to RoTE for so many reasons. Super fast and exciting and Darrow is a far different character than Fitz which in is heartbreaking for Fitz - but a relief from the ptsd too. For an American, these days, things are pretty stressful for obvious reasons. But this channel is one I can watch for hours, learn a lot, grow my (expensive-but so worth it!) TBR and be stress free and focused on the more beautiful things in life. Thank you William and Ed. So much. Can’t tell you enough how appreciative I’ve been. 🙏🏻✌🏻💙
That is so, so kind of you to say. Honestly that is the highest compliment we could receive. So glad that you’ve enjoyed the channels and maybe grown the tbr as well…. What a group of series that is! Any excuse for me to reread RotE is a good one in my opinion :). Darrow and Fitz are so, so different, but both have a lot of damage done to them! Thanks so much for watching, and happy reading!
I really should try to finish the second «Red Rising» series next year! 😅 And plan to start on «Boudica» with «Dreaming the Eagle» already next month! 😄 My own list of series I plan to finish this year: «The Fury of the Gods» (Bloodsworn Saga #3) by John Gwynne (Epic Fantasy inspired by Norse Mythology) «The Steel Tsar» (A Nomad of the Time Streams Trilogy #3) by Michael Moorcock (Multiverse/Alternative History/Time Travel Steampunk(?)😅) «The Wall» (City of Victory Trilogy #3) by Adrian Goldsworthy (Historical Military Fiction set during the building of Hadrian’s Wall) «Leviathan Falls» (The Expanse, #9) by James S.A. Corey (Space Opera) «Dictator» (Cicero Trilogy #3) by Robert Harris (Historical Fiction about the Roman Politician Cicero) Bonus: «Doom of Destiny» (Sundered Nation #3) by Vaughn Roycroft (Epic/Historical Fantasy), not yet published, but will preorder ASAP when it comes out! 😄 Cheers Will!
I absolutely love a series but I'm terrible at having lots on the go at once, so my plan from last month and for next year is to focus on all my series. Currently reading 2nd boudica and the last in a romance series. Priority to finish the last Wolf den book, and also the Bloodsworn of course 😊
I'm hoping to start Red Rising next month, looking forward to it. Dungeon Crawler Carl I have books 5 and 6 to finish before the audio of 7 comes out next year. Also hoping to get Assassin's Quest done this year and finish the Farseer Trilogy. Will probably end up starting more series than I finish though 😂
That is an awesome list! Cannot wait to read more Dungeon Crawler Carl. What's your favourite instalment of there series so far? I think you'll love Red Rising! Hahah, it is so hard not to start more series!
@@williamgwynne it's a very nice problem to have at least! Gate of the Feral Gods (book 4) has definitely been my favourite, it really starts kicking off and the plot is becoming more serious with some political intrigue involved. And something very exciting happens at the end 😅
I had a hard time with it as well. Just hardly anyone to root for other than people who I wanted to root for get abused over and over again. Tawny Man is the best trilogy of all. Fitz and the Fool trilogy ended with me crying angry tears. 😅
i want to commit to empire of the vampire but im cautious cuz i cant find info on if its going to be a trilogy or longer. I refuse to commit to authors that start ambitious with 7-10 book goals and dont live up to it
Helló Will. John Man:Attila the Hun. I recommend this book. According to legend, Attila was buried here in today's Hungary in a triple (gold, silver, iron) coffin. But the place of burial is still unknown.
It still physically pains me every time you talk about how you read RotE... shame on 15yo Will 🤣No but seriously, can't wait to hear your thoughts on Liveships and Rainwilds, those are my favourite parts of the universe outside of the Fitz and the Fool for sure! Also really exciting that you are diving back into Red Rising, Bound and the Broken and Greenbone, those are such great series. And heeeeck yes for EotD, you have been missing out!! Happy reading, Will ;)

I've gotten so many fantastic recommendations from watching your videos 😅
Thank you for all the videos
Great list, I am already in Red rising after your other video recommendation, so now the whole series is on my list to finish 😅
That’s awesome to hear! Hope you enjoy the rest of the series :)
Talk of sacrilege woth ROTE I read it backwards 😂 picked up the last trilogy first then went back to farseer and just read fitz
Hahah noooo. That makes me look good 🤣🤣

Gotta finish Wheel of time and Bloodsworn saga than i get into Malazan book of the Fallen ! :D
WOW! Titans of the genre there! Hope you love the end of Bloodsworn :).
I need to finish a lot of series too…. 😊 happy reading… 🎉
Hah, it is harder to do than it sounds! Happy reading :).
Jade war is exceptional; currently working through Jade Legacy
Hope you love it as much!
I'm really looking forward to your thoughts on both Liveships and Cicero!!
I have a feeling both will be positive.....
@@williamgwynne 🤞💯
I'm very jealous of that edition of Jade City. I blew through that trilogy and it became one of my favorites.
It’s so beautiful 🤩
I DNF´d the first liveship book after about 500 pages and continued with the tawny man trilogy which I rather enjoy. I just couldn´t get into liveship

Shame it did not click with you! I’ll have to see what I think….
But have you read Liveships?
Ed
Noooo
The thing is, you'll finish all those series, and there will be another ten.
Hahah, yep. The more the better!
❤❤❤Lancelot❤❤❤
So good!

Hey, I’m pretty certain it’s a trilogy, and book three has just finished being written :)
@@williamgwynne REALLY? imma read it immediately then :D

I almost made it through a video without having to add to my TBR. 🤦
Hahah what did you add?
The Cicero trilogy.
The rest are either already on the list, or, already read.
