Hi Arnel! There is very handy everyday vocabulary in this lesson! Many words and/or their context were new to me. I use a calendar as a planner. I write down important things on the calendar. Here is a list which words or their context were new to me: 1) A planner, 2) To work for oneself, 3) Opening times, 4) Alternate, 4) Staggered, 5) To cover for, 6) Back-to-back, 7) To be booked in for, 8) A time slot, 9) An available slot, 10) A walk-in, 11) To squeeze in, 12) A no-show, 13) can/can't make it, 14) To pencil in, 15) A plus one.
your videos are incredibly helpful, I've never come across a channel better than yours. You explain everything so clearly that it's impossible to get lost.
Finally I find an excellent English channel taught by a seeming Chinese. I love your videos and your appearance, because I'm from China. Also, your accent is perfect.😀
I have the morning shift at the hospital from Monday to Friday; full time job. At the beggining I was on call. Without any specific shift; could be working on nights, during the weekend, Christmas... This video really was helpful, couldn't be otherwise. As usual take care of yourself Arnel ; )
Wow, I already missed your videos. I'm glad to see you again and see the creativity in each one of them. Do not forget that you are the favorite and we will always be supporting you. I love you very much and many more people too. 😊❤️
Hi, Arnel, you have been working hard, and you simplify and make every lesson easier for us. I know you really worked hard for this video, I idolize you You are the best Arnel if you could please make a video on past simple specifically, I would really appreciate it, I just don't know, sometimes I get confused, about it
I can't express delight of your lessons in English because l don't feel it. Some thoughts of mine can formed in English but all my feelings are only in native language. But it is exactly a delight. Please just believe me. Thank you very much.
I watched all your videos! They are very good! My first criterion for watching the videos: it's the speaker's voice, it be captivating and holding my attention. In addition to having all these characteristics, I was surprised by the quality of his work. Thank you for your time and dedication!
Hola Arnel. Sos la mejor profesora de todo RUclips, a todos mis conocidos les recomiendo como primera opción tu canal. Estás a otro nivel, hay muchísimo conocimiento y trabajo en cada clase (video) que nos entregás. Como decimos en Argentina: un beso grande y cuidate mucho.🌷🇦🇷
Hi, Arnel I love your way of teaching. You teach in an interesting way specially with the help of pictures and small video clips. How nice it is if my english is not correct please never mind I am trying to learn the same with the help of your channel. Thank you, Khem from India
Arnel, Do you know how much you are smart? For me you are the number one youtube teacher in the world. i love your teaching style... I used to write appreciation letter for you. but you didnt response.
Hi Arnel! Thank you for the lesson! All words and examples are very useful for me despite of most of words being familiar. The new ones are: 18) staggered. 19) 'to show up" in the meaning "to arrive". 22) to cover for 46) to pencil in 35) a walk-in (noun) 36) walk-in (adj) 48) a plus one
Arnel, this lesson is more than useful. Wonderful structure. Please do more. And your acting skills are incredible. It is so fun to watch your videos 🙂
Pura Vida Arnel 🌴. You made me dream about cool vacations at the delightful place “The Palm Oasis”. I identified seven new words (a staged work schedule, a fixed schedule, nine-to-five, back to back, a walk-in , squeeze you in, penciled in my planner). I’m normally on time at work but early when I have to show up at the office. I usually have a fixed schedule but I over-work when my deliveries pile up. My sentences: - People love the walk-in clinic at my community because it accepts people from different places simultaneously. - Dr. Soto is a cool person, he squeezes me in his schedule when I need an emergency prescription. - Even though Arnel has a busy back to back schedule, she’s always in a good mood.
Great examples Kattia! I'm really happy there were a few new words for you here. And I wish "The Palm Oasis" did exist ;) *...but I have to work overtime when my deliveries pile up ;) ;)
