Thank you this was very informative. But im new to this just been diagnosed 2 months ago but got infected middle summer of 2018. Im wondering what is considered early lyme and late chronic lyme? Just wondering am i in the chronic stages?
Hi There Marty. I am from holland and has a infection of lyme, I have the afzelii version of bacteria causing ACA on leg. I had bleu red inflammation on the lower leg en had a biopsy done. Result borrelia afzelii infection. I had say moths back I did think of lyme against mine doctor who did say It was not. But I get worse later, and leg get also worse. After the exams, I did get docycyline to recover, ACA is late lyme and maybe I have it for years, I do not now. After 30 days of doxy, the aca did clear up and leg looks good, but I do see rests of it on leg, there is some damage done. Now the question, I have now 6 months after treatment no really bad ACA look, leg is quite clean, still after months of stopping antibiotics (november 2022) but I have still sometimes fatique and then I feel good, the heart disruptions are gone, and the examination of the heart in hospital was oke, had echo, bike test etc. I did had trouble with ritme that time who did dissepair after some weeks. I am see the ACA is still gone, and rests of damage is rest, I have no joint problems, never had these, (I have artrosis for years not cause by lyme). headage I did had but the least weeks or months also this is a lot less. Every morning I do measure bloodpressure in bed, is 108/68 and when stand up some higher and higher heartrate (104). When sitting on the bed I did get much higher, 138/98 but later it did get normal again, so I can say this is oke, always nice and low after sleeping, I am a nervouse kind of man, stressfull sometimes because of HSP type of uman, sensitive for sounds, like that of nabures in home. I have to go to hospital 2 may 2023 maybe something to ad? If ACA stays away do I am cured? I do think not, because of symtoms I still have, but maybe it is part of remission I am in. I can start herbs for shure and not antibiotics, you do now how. thanks in advance and I hope there is soon a solution for al the sufferers of lyme, I did read. hygromycin A www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/targeted-antibiotic-treating-lyme-disease Azlocillin med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2020/03/potential-treatment-for-lingering-lyme-disease.html
I have just started a three week course of doxicycline for the second time ( i had five weeks of it last year threw up everywhere bad nausea panics depression very ill. Came onafter a few days then went came back a month later, specialist left i was abandoned was supposed to have iv and spinal tap. Been ill ever since, bedridden. Just started nausea shivvers, going to take abusate in couple of weeks, cant stand the herxing though.
How can we sort which combination would work best for us individually? Do you have any suggestions? The doctors here in California keep telling me “Lyme is rare, so it’s all in my head and probably stress”. Regardless that I found a on me tick years ago, followed by a fever and 99% of Lyme symptoms to follow. I’ve consistently gotten sicker and sicker. 2 separate blood tests confirmed the antibodies. Yet still docs are sayin both test were likey “false positives”. ITS CRAZY MAKING 😭 I’m over here dying and they won’t help. So my question is something a lot of us would love to know..and that’s how to sort which signs/symptoms give away which combination might be most helpful? Obviously a specialist is ideal, but for those who need help in the meantime, some direction would be HUGE 🤍🤍🤍 please and thank you
@Wazgood i98 I was bitten from tick on 30.04.2019.After month started pins and needles, tinling, tiredness. From 18.06.2019 to 17.07.2019 i was to IV ceftriaxone.Last days of IV i took one pill Azithromycine-than started high pitch tinnitus untill now 24/7 servere. Also changing stabbing pain in ears ,legs and knee pain, tingling all over the body
I just got the diagnosis recently and this all new me but I can start out with asking what’s the pros and cons of IV v Oral? And how many of us will have to use IB..
How could i possible get in contact with you. Ive been suffering from lyme for over 15 years and have had little to no success with killing it off. I really need help. Please!!
Go to his website "Dr. Marty Ross MD doooooot coooooom." No spaces. I'm trying to type that out without it getting removed. He is retired, but recommends another doctor that works out of his old practice. Dr. Kim Iller. She is at....."functional medicine nw doooooot coooooom". No spaces.
Great run down
