Simple Swaps: Open Ended Questions vs. Close Ended Questions

  • In this video, we will review the pros and cons of using open ended questions versus close ended questions. By simply swapping when to ask a question that may not be appropriate for the moment (ie. Such as asking for the appointment), you can instead ask an open ended question that can lead to a more specific answer you're looking for.
    If you ask to ask "Would you like to meet next week?" That gives an option to say "no" where as asking "When are you available to meet next week?" makes you sound more confident and puts the customer in a position to increase their decision to pick a time and date.
