Ex-German General’s Brutal Attack On U.S.-led West Over Russia-Ukraine War; ‘Fatal To Believe…’

  • The former German chief of staff, Harald Kujat, and former NATO Military Committee Chairman has warned that the West was 'fatally' mistaken in their assumption about the Russia-Ukraine war. He told Germany's Overton Magazine that "it would be a fatal mistake to believe that Ukraine’s prospects will improve the longer the war continues." He also added that “the American government was apparently convinced that Russia could be permanently weakened politically, economically, and militarily by continuing the conflict, but the results showed otherwise." Might go look at the pictures again, nearly every victim had the white armbands that were a symbol of "Russian friendlies", and their Russian care package next to the bodies!
There's also the article in France LA Monde from two French journalists that were there.
So much more evidence, like the mayor, LAUGHING and HUGGING Ukrainian soldiers, and another local politician quoted in articles saying, "the Azov and SBU would sweep the area for Russian soldiers and COLLABORATORS" two days before the "massacre" was announced!

I agree. The U.S started this war in 2014 when Obama, Biden and Nuland, paid Eukraine's Gnat zees to overthrow their pro Russian President, after his landslide win.
They and their six closest allies, piled weapons on Russia's border, for Eukraine to take on Russia for them.
They also, trained and recruited more gnat zees from all over the world.
They wanted Russia's resources. They didn't think they could lose but, they thought wrong.
Boris Johnson personally, signed Eukraine's death warrant, not once bit twice, when he flee to Eukraine on Biden's orders, to stop Zelensky taking a Russian deal.

All the evidence shows that half the world wants to migrate to the paradise on Earth : Putin's Russia, a country were there is so much freedom that a "no to war" sign can land you for 15 years in a siberian concentration camp.

Absolutely correct, but I would go further and suggest that an outright victory for Ukraine is highly undesirable. The same problems would remain, separatist regions, attempted suppression of Russian language and culture and large scale corruption and the current situation would swiftly be repeated. It needs also to be recognised that Crimea will never submit to reinteginto Ukraine and Russia cannot permit it. Insistence upon that will provoke dangerous broadening of the conflict. Furthermore, if Ukraine were to join NATO, it would feel emboldened to provoke Russia , secure in the belief that the USA and NATO are committed to defend it. That way, old scores might be settled. We need to be careful what we wish for. So far, our political leaders, perhaps the most stupid, purblind, dogmatic, generation of politicians in recent history, reject realities in favour of hollow official narratives based upon prejudice and a preference for confrontation as opposed to negotiation and mutual respect.

American arms companies have developed the third generation arms. So they want to sell the old ones for cheaper price on 'sale'. The poor countries can afford the arms only when they are on sale. So you create a demand for sale!! The West will push India to get in a small scale war where you need more short distance targeted arms to fight for longer time so that you keep buying them until they last! Remember, the everlasting Srilankan war just ended abruptly..........It will happen with Ukraine and Gaza war too, when the old stocks of Germany and USA finishes up! Or India will have to join in the line to go for a war (It doesn't matter with whom!).....

Gen Kujat is right and it should be remembered that he was air force boss when von der Leyen was Merkel's disastrous Defense Secretary. In fact he refused to work with her and, with others, threatened to resign.
These professionals, along with Polish and Czech top brass, long ago realized that US influence and virtual "buying" of Kiev from Obama's first term onwards was likely to damage the status quo with Russia and stress NATO in central/eastern Europe.
Kujat in particular wanted to reduce reliance on US materiel acquisition and favored purchasing from Europe and Israel. Germany's Patriot stock has been run down in favor of German/Israeli SAM systems with some BAE/UK/Sweden developments as well as German designs but had no choice about the F35A contracts in place because there was no legal get out clause. However, numbers are lower due to production difficulties in the USA and Kujat's successors might opt for Gripens to fill the robust light fighter+ role.
Kujat and the others mentioned rightly feared that the USA would use Ukraine in a proxy war against "Russian interests" and warned against any further NATO 'mission creep'.
The 2021 talks over Donbas chaos and Crimea's status were indeed the best chance for Ukraine to end 30 years of stagnation and backsliding but the USA would not listen to Germany, Turkey, Poland or Romania about the need to develop all Black Sea trade or risk especially grain and fertilizer products from Russia and Kazakhstan switching to the Caspian/Iran/Gulf routes such as we have seen since the second harvest of 2022 when the Black Sea was mined. The rail/water/rail to sea route would use enormous vessels made by China and India as well as Russia in Iranian yards and skew major trade in Eurasia.
These military men were right and now Ukraine in 2024 is a running sore of a place which other Eurasian markets Black Sea states will shun because it is irrelevant to regional progress east and west.
It is even possible that western Ukraine will lose territory back to countries who lost important swathes in the wake of the 1945/6 Potsdam Meetings. Lviv oblast voted for independence from Kiev in 2019 and its votes were nullified, giving Zelenskyy a relatively small win over Poroshenko. Countries which lost territory were Romania, the then Moldavia, Poland, Belarus, Slovakia, Hungary and some islands belonging to Bulgaria. The future of the Danube delta, keeping transport separate from ecological conservation has been held back by Kiev.

Of course Ukraine isn't going to benefit. That was never the intention. The intention was to split Europe, yet again, and to ensure the survival of the Anglo-American hegemon at Europe's expense. This was a British-American war against Europe, not a Russian war against Ukraine.
