Great work Dennis! So thorough, clear, and skillfully edited. Who knew a video on Max’s Magic could be rendered with such perfection! You set the bar high for everything you do!
Thank you, Paul. I'll take credit for the explanations, but my friend Dave Means does the editing - I couldn't do it without him. Thanks for the support. Happy new year to you and your wonderful family!
This is the exercise I needed the most, now I'm playing Bach's Sarabande and Gigue from the first suite and my forearm gets really tired for some reason, thank you so much! Wish you all the best from Serbia
Thank you, Jovan. All the best to you from Houston - thank you for reaching out. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Those pieces take a lot of stamina. Take care!
Thanks so much for this, Fez, and I'm so glad to hear this is helping. I used to have little finger pain as well, and I realized these finger strengtheners really help. Hope you're well - thanks for watching!
Thanks for all the effort in doing those video and making them available for free on YT ! I want to buy your Vol.17 ( all the exercises). I have two questions: Do the exercises in Vol.17 follow your "1 hour workout" system (as if i have every single Volume) and in this case many exercises are repeated in the book; or to complete the 1h workout i have to jump from one exercise to the other in the book ? Do i need to buy Vol.18 too ? I don't understand what "primer" means , english is not my first language... Thanks in advance for your answer.
Thanks for the note, Max, and for the support. To your questions, Volume 17 contains all of the exercises in alphabetical order. To do them all would take about 4 hours. The first 16 volumes are all 1-hour (about) workouts, and you'll find many of the exercises in multiple books, because they're designed to focus on and develop different aspects of performance. The word "Primer" just means that they help prepare you for the actual exercise by teaching some complicated exercises in smaller parts. The "oompah" exercise, for example, has a lot of parts to learn. I hope that helps - let me know. Take care! Dennis
Hi Beanie - sorry for the delay. I teach the German fingering system for beginners, just as a place to start. In America, it helps students move more smoothly between teachers and study.
This is just great, thank your Dennis.
You're welcome, Steve. Thanks for watching, and hope you're well

Hey dennis, do you reccomend the german or Italian fingering system for beginners? Would help a lot!
Hi Beanie - sorry for the delay. I teach the German fingering system for beginners, just as a place to start. In America, it helps students move more smoothly between teachers and study.
