  • In this video, I am testing out my read only Rom made from 64 8-bit Buffers and some not gates and a couple of decoders. The program I have running is the same one from my last video bust instead of using my read/write memory. I am using my read-only memory for the first time.
This completely removed any program lag that large amounts of memory were causing. At 64x Bytes of rom my clock would Tick slower. That doesn't happen using this buffer method.
The only downside is that you can't reprogram easily, but you can save the entire program permanently.
This is the fastest the in-game clock has ticked for a program of this size.

its cool, but im confused by "read only rom", doesnt ROM means "Read Only Memory"? so that means read only ROM means: "Read Only Read Only Memory"???
