When he sees that 3 idlies that they give here(in this scene) he remembers her(old lady) and that's why he called her

The competition scene is a actually quite genius. When i watched it first I also felt like he is just throwing a tantrum that's all. But he intentionally started doing all that to get all those reactions from Charlie and make her do the adorable things she does to look after him. So people realize she is not some stupid indiscipled dog but is so intelligent and caring. When I realized that I appreciated the scene so much more on my second watch

The Dog show scene was symbolic.
It shows what animals are actually for (love and compassion) VS what we do with them (train them for competition)
You can compare it to human kids too. Not every kid has to be talented to be special

The dog acted better than tiger shroff has acted in his entire life
When devika comes to Dharma's house with her assistants, she ties a tracker to Charlie without anyone's notice. While you watching movie, you won't point it out. But the director kept a dialogue for her saying "i tied a tracker and reached you upto here" in the 2nd half. Then you realise, how she was able to track both of them.
If only they had hired a good subtitler :( (by they I mean Jaby)

I lost my little dog Tinku this year. Watching this movie was like going through that experience again. I cried all night went back to the uni with swollen eyes the next day.

But yeah, another dog will eventually heal the pain to an extent but the wound will still be there. Surely, another dog does deserve our love and we deserve the dog's love too. I know you mean well but it's not easy.

This movie is quite inspired from mahabharata with main character as dharma and a dog which goes till the last like in Mahabharata!the events and teaching relates it with Mahabharata in a philosophical way!

Another brilliant thing the director did was to have the songs in the local language of the place the protagonists visit.

The main aim of the movie was to love every dogs and not to buy them but adopt.
But Many Indian audience placed many orders of Labrador after that and which ultimately lead to forcefully breeding of these dogs by breeders which made them much more suffer.

Whotf wrote those subtitles. Trust me there were many mistakes which didn't convey the exact meaning/sounding. One big mistake is, charlie is a 'she' not a he.
