Since you’re brainwashed on world happenings to think good is bad and bad is good. Seems like the best minds lead all “the evil” and write the best songs and have the best culture. The songs are good since heart, love and care went into them from folks who believed in something bigger than themselves, while the “good guys” are merely soulless bloodsucking leeches with not charisma or original thought, only greed.
@@anglishbookcraft1516 You're forgetting the part when the South left the Union because they wanted to keep the status quo. Why's that? G R E E D. Slave trading was pretty fucking profitable. And saying the north were the bad guys is like saying the British were the bad guys in the Second World War. You've made no fucking point, just insulted me for no aparent reason. The Union would free the slaves and attempt to make the black men equal. But you southerners sabotaged that, introducing Jim Crow, changing to the Republican party, you're the only one who's brainwashed here. They teach the lost cause in schools throught the south, the entire world seems to know it but you. And what exactly do they believe it's bigger than they? The fact they thought slavery was aproved by God himself? Read an actual fucking history book by a real historian, not your revisionist bullcrap.
@@SouthernNationalist1861 I don't know what your moral compass is, but sending all of your men, guns, and horses to protect the institution of slavery is not a good thing, as long as you're not a white supremacist. I suppose that's not your case. The winners don't always write history, a great example of this is the common perception of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht in the Second World War. The Red Army are seen as brutes, utterly incapable of waging war and winning by a miracle, and burning down, killin' and raping their way through the german country side. While the Wehrmacht is portrayed as an unstopable mechanized force, where all men are saints and have no idea what was happening in Auchwitz or Dachau. (utterly untrue btw) and that their generals were flawless and Hitler was the sole culprit of their ultimate defeat. Guess who, made this portrayal common knowledge? The german generals who wrote their memoirs about the war to american officials in case of a war with the USSR. The Lost Cause myth is originated to get the Confederacy right on everything cool with progressives but implicitly harboring the racism it was originally founded upon. the KKK was founded by the confederate general Nathan Bedford Forrest, and southern democrats oposed civil rights bills and eventually switched to the Republican party through the Southern Strategy. Don't believe me? Check actual historians, not your revisionist bullshit.

I hate the confederacy, but I don’t hate good music.
Such a good song for such a evil faction, why do evil people are always so fashionable and have pretty good marching tunes?
@@anglishbookcraft1516 yep. It's not all that simple with that "good and bad" bullshit
Because they weren't evil. Notice every one the U.S has ever fought is always made out to be Evil. it's just the victors writing history.
That's to great to be an anthem for a racist country

Technically, it was the democrats that seceded from the Union...
@@willardtk2979 Jesus, pick up a history book.
Democrats at that time were conservatives. Republicans were liberals. Lincoln is rolling in his grave thinking about how his once freedom loving, progressive party has turned into a regressive, totalitarian cesspool

Facts don't care about your feelings. Including the fact that Democrats of the time were states-rights, small government conservatives and Republican were liberal Federalist.
