I absolutely loved what Dw did with this Transformers comic book. It took so much inspiration from the classic cartoon and mixed it with a serious tone. I was saddened when it came to an end.
I don't think you are just viewing this through rose-coloured glasses! I am older than you (I bought the Marvel comics as a kid when they came out) so I was an adult when Dreamwave was released and I still read them. I LOVE them. I hated the IDW storyline (I'm glad Starbound is so good) and think they are definitely worth the read
The story of Dreamwave Productions as the owners to Teansformers should never be forgotten about.
Great content ! I grew up on this comics. These were SUCH a big deal. To my eyes, no comic ever looked like this before.
