But he became more open up after he debuted in NCT 127, and even more of himself, happier and more funnier after Doyoung and Johnny joined, also because he gained more fans too so it made him feel more courage and comfortable to be more of himself after that.

Something about NCT U is not sitting right with me... like, they're really image-conscious? All of their answers are very generic and safe (take Taeyong's answer, for example), and even with Ten, Jaehyun, and Doyoung being among the outspoken ones in the group, the whole aura of the group feels very muted. I don't think it's because they're nervous, because they've had camera experience with SMRookies. Rather, I get the impression that they're strictly regulated on what they can say or do, presumably by their company. Don't get me wrong; I like them a lot (Ten-biased here) and think they're fantastic performers, but they are rookies after all, so I hope they can break out of their shells a bit after a couple of years in the industry. :)

His band mates have said it before, he seems cold on the outside, but he's really warm and caring on the inside. they always talk about how much he cares about them. he was the only one to send "Have a safe trip" to his other band mates who were traveling to get to them. when he describes the members he always says the most heartwarming words about them that they legit feel like they're the special ones in his heart. He also never likes to be in the center, like here for example, and in multiple places I have seen him push other members to the center instead of himself. And you should see how the maknaes look up to him and express how they want to be like him in the future. Anyway that was a long ass explanation, but since I've been binging on NCT for days now I noticed these things :)
