Every manga collectors fears 1. Fires or just any natural disaster but mainly fire 2.Running out of space 3.Running out of money I myself have experienced all 3💀
he has 3000+ volumes divided by 12(years he’s been collecting manga) times 15 (assuming each volume cost around $15) this madlad spends $3750 on manga a year
Completely agree as someone who has been following the series weekly since chapter 1 dropped. I was considering dropping it around chapter 15 and then the new characters got introduced and made everything way better.
My first volume I ever bought is Skip Beat! Volume 1 when I was in 4th grade. It holds a special place in my heart just remembering how I did not know what manga was and I first read the book the wrong way and was so confused. I kept at it though and got hooked. Now I'm around 500+ strong and hope to have a collection similar to yours one day!
OMG i'm a sucker for shoujo, and i thought i knew most of the good shoujo out there, but you introduced me to so many new interesting series! thank you!
What an impressive collection man! I've still got a ways to go but i'm currently at 850 volumes and have been collecting for 3 years now. With no plans on stopping!
It's amazing how no one (I've seen a lot of these manga collection videos) has Grand Blue which is one of the best comedy mangas ever created with a fantastic art.
If you're thinking of getting back into AoT, now is a pretty good time. Season 4 of the anime is coming and the manga is extremely close to over at this point. It gets pretty wild. I'd definitely recommend giving it another go.
I just started collecting mangas myself and it's quite fun if you get what I mean. But seeing you talking about your mangas and laughing is lovely. Keep collecting!
Ok so i'm just now discovering this... You have an insane collection! That's such a chill vibe to be able to read/re-read basically a Whole Library of Manga lol
Cool collection! I like to collect random manga volumes instead of full series', so I appreciate the variety you have! I guess the collection would look better with more figures and posters, but of course only collect what you feel like, I quit collecting manga at some point, so I'm impressed by how your collection is getting bigger every year. I have a few recommendations if you care: Kekkaishi (one of my favorite shounen manga, 35 volumes), Gunslinger Girl (15 volumes), Pluto (8 volumes), Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (the most beautiful omnibus ever made), and you've probably had Vagabond and I am a Hero recommended to you many times.
I can imagine him being a professor sitting in his chair doing an interview about something important with this library of manga in the background instead of fancy research books.
35:30 No need to be embarrased, I have quite a Hentai Manga collection myself. Mine is not that much bigger, but it does satisfy my personal needs as well as some western erotica comics that were made back in the early 2000s.
25:38 I also was really into Negima! in highschool and I forgive the ending for two reasons: 1) The meta-narrative story of why the manga was cut short is so much more interesting then the actual ending. The Negima! creator made a website to sell out-of-print manga digitally and the publisher didn't like that so they canceled the serialization of the manga. At the time, there was a fear that digital books will kill the physical book market. 2) The not a sequel, in universe sequel series, UQ Holder! actually gives answers and conclusions to some of the character arcs and plots form Negima!
20:40 My first manga I collected was Love Hina. Collected Volumes 1 to 7 when it was the Tokyo Pop release and I had to wait for the series to be re-released under a different publisher to get vols 8 to 14 of that classic series. Love Hina was also my first Anime DVD I collected as a box set but I can say for certain that the Manga was far more better version as the Anime changed moments in the story because the animators were trying to aim for a young teenage audience while the manga was most certainly more mature in it's content for the older teenage audience.
You have got the entire lockdown situation easy. Bigger than my own bedroom, though I started collecting Manga back in 2004 when I finished my high school years when I could finally collect more stuff with my money. (though I did collect Video Games and Anime DVDs during my middle school and high school years, figures I collected a few years after collecting Manga) Though your collection is far more bigger than mine, but I have respect for you and even if you get some flack from others, I get the same thing from my mom who says that my bedroom is called a Library. Light Novels I started collecting in recent years after finishing my gaming collection and slowed down on Anime DVDs when Blue Ray and Digital platforms was replacing it. Though I did collect some Goosebumps Books during my school years so it was natural for me to start collecting light novels when I stopped collecting the gaming and anime due to the budget they would take up previously.
I just started my manga collection with A silent voice and My hero academia. What are some good shoujo manga to get. I'm unable to get a job so the money that i do spend on manga has to be well spent for me :) btw i prefer College shoujo the most, but I also really like High school ones too.
I recommend Akagami no shirayuki hime it's a romance based on a girl with peculiar red hair that falls in love with a prince...but I have to say that recently the latest volumes have drifted away from that and there's not that much of romance in it anymore(?) But it's still a really enjoyable one. Another one that I recommend is Gekkan shoujo nozaki kun this one though goes more on the comedy and even if it's considered a shoujo if you just want the couple to get together this isn't really for you cause there's a lot of teasing and even if I think that it's coming to an end I can't say for sure that the couples are going to get "officially" together just maybe hinted. Another one that I really enjoy is ReLife...the title gives away the plot so I won't say much about it this one is maybe more classical than the first two that I mentioned it's also completed and a pretty light hearted series. I've read more than just these but I always forget the names so...yeah
Oh my god I’ve never seen anyone else have the Inubaka series!! 😂 I have the complete set too and always upset it got cancelled before we finished the series. I even had some friends get into it.
We got a Fairy Tail fan bweyy over here, just kidding, I love it. I also like how you only collect manga that you like, you ordered some and didn't like it, so you only got the 3 or 1 volume, I don't like how some people will buy random ones just for the sake of having the biggest library, manga isn't Pokemon, you gotta make it in your own image, it's like a peak inside your brain. So I like this, thumbs up from me.
I have an extra copy of Aion volume 3, if you are interest. Where did you get your bookshelves? They are awesome. You have so many of my favorites: The Ancient Magus Bride, Black Bird, Black Cat, Kamisama Kiss, Magi, Noragami, Trigun, Overlord, etc.
If you like monster girls I suggest interspecies reviewers. Not exactly a hentai, but not for people below 18. It actually has some story from what I've seen.
You have A LOT of Manga but I said that in your last collection video already so yeah haha. Always love seeing a new video of yours. :) My collection will never be this big because I unhaul quite a lot because I like to get rid of stuff I'm not into anymore. I like to own just what I like. I like to Marie Kondo my collection once in a while haha. But I definitely need one of those glass cabinets some day to display all my back to the future stuff I am keeping in a box since years lol
I never understand why people be like, 'You have trash taste.' And everytime the response will be, 'So?' Lol. I mean, if you like what you like and it makes you happy and you're not hurting anyone, who really cares. Lol
eyeshield 21 is awesome, i have the first 6 volumes and it is amazing so far. I played in middle-school and freshman year and i miss football so the manga is an awesome trip!
Thoroughly enjoyed watching your tour from start to end FYC: “Inu Yasha 3 & 4 -in-1” volumes are on sale at Rightstuf “Wild Side” promotion in the coming week ... to complete your set as you mentioned in the video
Hey amazing collection I myself only have about 1/6 the size of yours but hopefully one day it could be something amazing I have two questions about collecting 1.how do you decide what to keep & how do you feel about layering manga in front of one another
D.Gray-Man volume 25 and 26 has been released in English btw and you're way off mark about it not being as good now lmfaoo, the plot has become even more complex and the art has improved too. Get Volume 25 and you'll see what I mean. D.Gray-Man takes multiple reads to understand the amount of depth and all the foreshadowing that goes into it. This manga just keeps getting better.
Dr. Stone doesn't actually have the villain around a lot, at least not as far as the anime has gotten, most of the show was just watching the characters take all the technological steps towards creating antibiotics, the villain is really only there to be used as motivation for the characters, there's not much actual fighting. Maybe it changes later on in the manga, but I doubt it ever becomes too focused on the villains. Also yeah Nisekoi was kinda annoying, a love hate relationship with that, but the ending was super satisfying so I'm glad I read it.
I have to say you should read Genshiken. It's a fun manga. I read all the manga and watched the anime. If you like to watch a group of otakus in college just being nerds and getting themselves into shenanigans then I think you'll like Genshiken. :D
Anyone know what the Chunibyo box sets are? I know one of them is the $120 Heart Throb box set but what is the other one? and what is the toradora! box set? i love both of those shows
Imagine having so much manga that you forgot that you had a 100 volumes on the side
🔥😂
Lol
Bruh that’s literally a Mini library! Wtf!
no that IS A LIBARY that has more manga than my library has to be fair my library maybe has like 300 manga at most :(
Mini?
He is the library!
pong channel. My library has like 100 manga max ;(
@@pongchannel. my have 0 and in whole country we have 0 cuz manga isnt that popular so we must buy every manga lol

💯😂😂
Right as I was reading this he said that
this is actually pretty short compared to there is one time i watch like a 12 hour one

If I went to a boys house and this was his room I’d Marry him on the spot😂

he has 3000+ volumes

times 15 (assuming each volume cost around $15)
this madlad spends $3750 on manga a year
And $312 a month, and $10 a day
Just to help your estimate, assuming an average of 15 dollars a volume is waaaaay high.
Fatal Ferret I would say u would spend about 2.5k a year and about 200 a month by my estimate of $10 of each manga
In Italy we have manga at 4.5/5€ each, 15$ for a volume is very high. How can you collect so many volume at that price?
