I think most of the fans seem to have assumed they have seen the best of Ordegaad. I think what we saw was just a small sample of his potential ... his ceiling is higher than almost any other options out there that we have a chance to sign.

Less than a minute in and I once again see how much of a great player he is and that he is about to grow better and better! We will miss him! Secretly I do hope that we might be able to get him permanently or for another loan with a buy clause. Anyway, best of luck Martin, you are a really good player and seem to be a great person too!
A left-footed CAM like Bernardo Silva and him is the player type we currently don't have. So better recruit him instead of a right-footed one like Buendia, if we still play with 4-3-3 next season
No buy buendia and extend this dude's loan for another six months and depending on performance till half of the season, either end his contact and keep Emil or buy him and loan out Emil.

Watch Buendia bruh. He can pass and shot with both of his foot. There is a reason why he create and score a lot last season.
If we get buendia I feel we have 2 players with the same traits with ESR and him but odegard is a different threat entirely
Instead of graelish, we need a solid top tier right back, buendia, and a solid cm with a left back for bench. Other than that, if we sell laca and get a superb attacker, that would be a bonus.

Note. With every single genial pass, there were several teammates running i the same direction towards the oponents goal creating spaces, and Ødegaard had several oportunities to choose from. I really want see Arsenal playing with more movement without the ball. This was almost totally lacking this year.
When this movements were missing, Ødegaard and the other midfielders had to take a backwardpass, because there were no co-operation from his teammates. I have seen the frustration in Ødegaards eyes quiet often this season, both the few matches he played for RM, and for Arsenal.
Man U had these runners who opened spaces, but lacked a person who could make these passes. So when Bruno Fernandes came in, it was easy for him to make an input. With runners in the right spaces in front of him, it would also give the midfielders more oportunities to score goals as well.
So for the next year, I really hope this would improve, and Ødegaard is a part of the team, at least as a loanee.
It's funny cause as someone who's been following Odegaard since his Heerenveen loan I can comfortably say we as Arsenal fans have seen maybe 20% of his quality. If we get him permanently, it will be the biggest steal since Sol Campbell.

Everyone wants buendia.. But I still doubt him. Cause as far as i remember, benrahma n taarabt also tearing apart championship back in the day. But they can't make it in premiere league. Arsenal should be careful with that

Buendia had the best creative stats in the premier league last season, but Pukki and co. didnt finish the chances, I’d happily take both as ESR and Buendia can both be deployed as wing options as well as attacking midfield options

The way to go is get a loan from Odegaard, buy Buendia. That's some hardcore offensive mix with Pepe and Saka on the flanks. Grealish Price tag will limit other area of necessity we need to fill in
Looking at his demeanour, Martin seems ambivalent about Arsenal and Madrid - play in a inconsistent youthful club vs stay in a bench of a cut-throat club.
Arsenal can develop him but is he worth the price and the wait to top form, especially with Buendia in the mix.

Albeit in a dead rubber against a bottom half side, he was excellent this game.

Bissouma couldn't stand out even amongst his teammates and was no match for Arsenal midfielders and it was same story in previous fixture between the two teams as well yet he costs 40M and Soumare who is equally good cost Leicester only 23M. Even cheaper than what Gabriel (A defender) cost us.

He's not a sub. If they try to put him on the bench he will just demand another loan.
